Some clips from Oliver’s (Brandon u13s)recent session where we spent time looking at distribution. Looked a little at playing a clipped pass out mid-distance, just refining the technique a little. This then built into decision making around which technique depending on distance/pressure.

As the 2025/26 season draws to a close, well done to all the lads and lasses who’ve stepped up and gone between the posts. Some have decided it’s not for them but I’ll always give credit to those that have given it a go and gained an understanding of just how tough it is back there.

Looking back, I’ve managed to catch 48 keepers in action in 70+ games and I’ll continue to support in this way

I’m all for players playing at the right level for them and possibly a poorly worded ad but under 8’s??🤦

We revisited “The Triangle of Doooom!” during Toby’s session and the ex*****on was outstanding.

Despite the warm conditions Toby put together some of the cleanest back-to back repetitions I’ve seen on this drill. His progress is a direct reflection of the effort and concentration he brings to each session.

Clips from Olivia’s(u11s)weekend session looking at higher catches. Olivia has incredible focus in her sessions and her willingness to learn and improve shows through here, which was probably in the space of less than 10 minutes!

Clips from Saturday’s session with Emily from Whickham Fellside Ladies looking at blocking technique, progressing into spotting when to close space/set for shot making it more relevant and match realistic

Whilst very new to the keeper role, In a very short space of time Emily has shown rapid progress and her level of focus and determination is excellent 👌
