I don’t normally make resolutions as I rarely stick to them, but after a rather quiet period on social media since I arrived in Dahab I will be trying to post a little more often to say the least.

We will start with this one. When I arrived in November I competed in the Dahab Open Championships in The Blue Hole.
Not much time for preparation but time enough to catch a bug which didn’t help with my efforts at deep diving. So with two white cards out of three I was delighted to get this far.

Please anyone correct me if I’m wrong but CMAS National Records don’t appear on their website, although many were declared on the day and have been announced since. After some research it turns out that the previous NR for Senior category was 60m.

So I’m taking it!

A winter in Dahab is a chance to lie inspired and earn from the amazing Freedivers around you here. Techniques, training tips and how to navigate a life lived in this activity and nascent sport. I am taking this time to learn, improve my knowledge and of course, yes, get deeper and better.

So a very Happy New Year and Thank You to everyone who has supported and shared good times with me and my little venture this past year. I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner.

After a bit of a break from social media whilst on Saltfish Freediving Ibiza manoeuvres this is just a little post to wish all of you a Happy New Year and a wonderful 2024. Much more news to come very soon, but first….

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported Saltfish so far and we look forward to many more good times ahead with this growing Familia!!!

A film about an heroic deed. A reminder for us all to live life to its fullest potential. A message about following dreams, about sharing a passion, about spreading love.
Steve Keenan was one of the founders of Dahab Freedivers. He was the heart of the centre, and he left a legacy of golden human values, which he spread with real actions along his life.
No film will ever be able to translate what a great person Steve was. But the director Laura McGann made a great job with this one, with invaluable collaboration of Steve's family, of Alessia Zecchini , and of many others, who had to go through painful memories just to finally allow us all to get to know a bit more about such a special human being who he was.
The movie comes out today on Netflix.

Dahab Curry Club is finally back tomorrow Friday 6th.
We start at my first place when I arrived here in Dahab in 2018, Dahab Freedivers.
On offer will be......
Thai Chicken Massaman Curry 180le
Panang Vegetble Curry 160le
Both are served with rice and traditional garnishes.
Also on offer will be my homemade authentic SALSA MACHA. A mild Chilli oil made with chile de arbol, chipotle, guajillo, pasilla, piquín and morita. Prices depending on the size will be 120 - 180le.
Service will be from 6pm with music from me until late. Be fast, Curry don't last! Bring containers if you want Take Away.
