Thank you to for gifting us the perfect spot for our rest hours. Of course we had to get a pink one to match the vibes of our team and bring a pop of girliness to this challenge.

We now have mattresses! The biggest thank you to Southern Sails & Covers who have kitted us out with the comfiest beds for our Atlantic crossing.

Prior to their help we had been sleeping on mats so thin it felt like the hard floor. Out on the Atlantic every minute of sleep is going to count and now we have such comfy beds, it’s going to be a struggle to get up for our shifts on the ores.

The perfect send off for our boat Stevo.

On Saturday we hosted a going away party for our ocean rowing boat Stevo. It was an opportunity to bring all our friends and family together, and thank them for their continued support.

This therefore made it the perfect event to unveil our new boat design in tribute to our title sponsor TROPIC

What started as a simple phone call about suncream has turned into our dream partnership and we’re so grateful for all their support.

On Sunday Meg drove Stevo to Essex so he can be shipped to the Canaries. We now won’t see her until December where we’ll be in La Gomera preparing for the start of the World’s Toughest Row 2026

From sailing and rowing to shipping, fishing and everything in between, the maritime world brings adventure, opportunity and unforgettable experiences.

We are so grateful to be part of this community and we can’t wait to be racing across an Ocean in just over 2 months World’s Toughest Row

So what do you snack on if you don’t like chocolate… well megs got it covered.

Whilst rowing across the Atlantic we need to consume enough calories to feel fuelled and energised for 3,000miles. So alongside our freeze dried meals there will be many snack breaks to maintain a constant calorie intake.

During our training rows we’ve been testing out different snacks:
- how easy they are to store
- which give us a boost of energy
- what we’re craving
… so with our final training rows coming up we think we’ve got this down to a fine art!
