A solid weekend racing cross with 2 visits to the podium. Only 2 more races left in the Catalan Cup. I will push hard for a win before the end. Time to get back to this week to address some breathing issues and more gym work. Endavant amb força! 🤘🏼⚡️👊🏼

Super production from the promoting Club. A very fun day out. Legs are getting accustomed to the efforts required for cross again slowly.
Looking forward to the next rounds and the Catalan Championship mid December which will be a goal.
I returned to CX racing after 5 years away from it. Forgot just how much I love it.
Maybe do a little training for next years season and less ultra distance.

Kicked my Cross Season off last weekend with the 2nd round of the Catalan Cup @ the Spectacular DarkCross on Saturday followed by a round of the Copa España on Sunday @ the KH-7 Gran Prix Les Franqueses taking 4th & 8th respectively from deep on the starting grid.
Happy enough with that! 🤘🏼

Back to Badlands again for more hardship!

Tricky weather forecast and a switch to the ‘safe track’ to avoid peanut butter mud on the river beds of Goraffe and Tabernas desert. Should make for some type 2 fun.

Onwards anyhoo.

One week out from the biggest race challenge I have ever taken on. Badlands! A 760km non-stop, epic, ultra, self-supported bike race. How has my preparation been? Not fantastic to be honest. This has been a tough year with many set backs, a lot of highs and a lot of low lows. Expectations are minimal and the learning curve will be as steep as the 15,000 metres elevation that awaits me. I hate climbing! Why am I doing this? All the doubts creep in but adventure is assured. I cannot wait, and, feel very blessed to make it to the start line in Granada next Sunday morning. Stay tuned for live tracker link which I will post before the race starts. Wish me luck 🍀 I’ll need it!!
