Main chef, guide, translator and dear local friend for many fun years. Gavin is from Johannesburg, South-Africa and have been living a
nd studying in England where he´s roots are originally from. Nowadays he has been enjoying life in Southern Spain for seven years. He have worked as a chef and and house maintainer for Russian families and many local restaurants. It is a honour that we
can go explore the spanish mountain terrains under guidance of this fine fellow. Mister Taylor is a DH-Skater and a chef but also a hardcore skilled Slackline/Highline monkey. During the camps he will introduce us to this fine sport witch is really fun and the most perfect way to practice your core and balance for skating. Leirimme pääkokki, opas, tulkki ja erityisen mukava paikallinen ystävämme monien vuosien ajalta. Gavin on syntynyt Etelä-afrikan johannesburgissa, jonka jälkeen hän on opiskellut ravintola-alaa englannissa mistä hänen sukunsa juuret ovat alunperin kotoisin. Nykyään hän on työllistänyt itseään etelä-espanjassa seitsemän vuoden ajan mm. kokkaamalla varakkaille venäläisille perheille sekä monille alueen ravintoloille. On kunnia että saamme kulkea hänen opastuksellaan andalucian kätketyille alamäkiteille, missä voimme nauttia alamäkilautailusta täydellisyydessään. Herra Taylor on DH- ja kokkaus-skillsien lisäksi erittäin HC-slackline/highline taituri. Gavin pitää meille leirin after-skate aikana oppitunteja tähän lajiin, joka on hauskuuden lisäksi ehkä parasta treenausta alamäkilautailuun. Nikolai Poutanen (synt. 1989)
The camp skateacher, tamer of the wobble monster and barbecue maestro. Poutanen started skating in the early age of six. Beside skating he has been playing drums, downhill biking, snowboarding, motorbiking, etc. witch naturally lead him in the world of downhill skateboarding. During the last six years of downhill skateboarding Nikolai has developed a stable 'n' smooth style of fast free riding which you can only watch gasping. For your pleasure this dude is willing to show, tell and teach what downhill skateboarding is all about. Leirin skate-teacher, wobblen-kesyttäjä ja grilli-mestari. Lavia longboardsin team rideri, herra Poutanen hyppäsi rullalaudan päälle ensimmäisen kerran kuusi-vuotiaana, jonka jälkeen hänen harrastuksiinsa on kuulunut skeittauksen lisäksi rumpujen hakkausta, downhill-maastopyöräilyä, lumilautailua ja prätkillä pärräystä, josta hän päätyi luonnollisesti alamäkiskeittauksen pariin. Kuuden vuoden aikana Nikolaille on kehittynyt erittäin hallittu ja nopea freeride-tyyli, jota ei voi kuin ihmetellä kylmähiki ohimolla. Iloksenne "Suomen nopein skeittaaja (86kmh)" on suostunut valottamaan meille mitä nopea downhill-skeittaaminen pitää sisällään.
