Today Niklas starts at MIHWA World Cup representing SWEDEN 🇸🇪 at Legends 50+ category on Garmish-Partenkirchen, Germany 🇩🇪

In Fuengirola LIONS 🦁 Niklas plays at the MAPAX national league team and in Andalusian league for the Fuengirola VIKINGS 🟨

We wish him the very best for the tournament!!

"Trust is a double way road"

A new month has already started...almost a week gone... exciting new month with lots of HOCKEY and other new things happening!! 🦁🥅🏒🥳🎉✨

The Campeonato de España de las Selecciones Autónomicas were played last week in Águilas to where we have provided both rinks. LIONS had a total of 6 players representing Andalusia in Águilas.

This weekend starts the MIHWA World Cup 2026 in Garmish-Partenkirschen and Niklas is playing for Sweden.

At the end of the month we will have a visit from a German team coming to play in Fuengirola and as well the annual veterans tournament VIEJOVEN in Jaén.

Then we are DONE for this season...and next season brings new challenges.

Next season will bring some NEW CHALLENGES and not only in competition as our home will be demolished and a new one will be constructed in 3 years time.

Anoche celebramos la Gala anual de Deportes de Fuengirola

Este año el elegido para recibir el premio de la escuela de hockey ha sido Ismael... enhorabuena 🥳🎉

Todos los años es muy muy complicado elegir a sólo una persona que reciba el premio....este año no ha sido la excepción.

Ismael lo merece mucho y no solo con sus enormes logros deportivos en hockey línea y hockey sobre hielo. Portero de la selección andaluza....y su evolución deportiva ha sido siempre muy positiva....pero más que por razones deportivas....Ismael lo merece por su aportación al equipo.... integración....ejemplo dentro y fuera de la pista...toma en cuenta los que empiezan y los miran hacía arriba en él...siempre de buen humor y responsable con sus estudios.

Ayer tuvimos una tarde excelente en el complejo deportivo Elola con la entrega de las medallas de los juegos municipales 🥇🥈🥉

Mil gracias al ayuntamiento de Fuengirola y a la concejalía de deportes por la ilusión y darnos la oportunidad de poder practicar hockey en Fuengirola!! 🤩🥳🎉
