Before I dive in, I am a fitness, nutrition and high performance coach and have been in this world for 22 years, so I know all of the tricks and hacks, I've tried all of the fads and seen my peers do the same.
This is insider info that took me tens of thousands of hours to learn, observe, practise and know what works and what doesn't.
What does not work:
🚫Dieting
🚫Training everyday
🚫Removing food groups (think fat, carbs, protein)
🚫Labeling your favourite foods as bad or forbidden
🚫Unsustainable habits
✅How to eat what you want and be in great shape:
It is not about holding back from eating what you really want, what will get you lasting, easy results is upgrading your self-image and belief in yourself.
What do I mean? What dictates what you eat, whether you stop when you are full, whether you eat because you are bored, emotional, stressed and how you look after your body is determined by your self-image.
The reason why diets don't work is they don't recalibrate how you feel about yourself. I still drink beer, wine, eat cake and crisps multiple times per week. What allows me to ''get away with it'' is everything around that is balanced.
It is not the 80/20 rule, it's being connected to your body and having an innate desire to treat it with love and respect.
What will get you lifelong results is an inner journey, not a program or diet.
When your image of yourself is you are a fit, healthy, happy human your results will be in alignment with that.
Now, I do teach my clients about nutrition and create exercise journeys that are unique for their body. The difference is each action they take I have then reinforce the internal programs they are creating.
This is what changes everything.
