🐢 ¡Volvemos a actuar por la fauna de nuestras aguas! 🛟
Volviendo de una de nuestras excursiones de avistamiento de cetáceos (AROC), nuestro capitán avistó a una tortuga marina enredada flotando en la superficie.
Inmediatamente activamos el protocolo oficial llamando al 112. Trasladamos a la tortuga a nuestra base en el puerto de Cala d’Or, manteniéndola protegida a la sombra, cubierta con una toalla húmeda, en una caja sin agua y sin desenredar, tal y como establecen las pautas de rescate para no causarle mayores lesiones.
Ya se encuentra bajo el cuidado del equipo veterinario de la Fundación Palma Aquarium, donde está recibiendo toda la atención necesaria para recuperarse. ¡La hemos bautizado con el nombre de Maja! 💙
Queremos agradecer a la por su rápida respuesta y su enorme labor constante en la conservación de las especies marinas en Baleares. ¡Esperamos que Maja pueda volver muy pronto a su hogar! 🌊✨

Manchmal sind es nicht nur die Tauchgänge, die zählen, sondern die Spuren, die man in dieser Zeit hinterlässt. Dieses Jahr feiern wir bei MDS ein ganz besonderes Jubilaumsjahr: Unser Frank ist seit
10 Jahren bei uns und hat in dieser Zeit die unglaubliche Marke von 4.000 Tauchgängen erreicht!
In diesen 10 Jahren hat Frank so vieles kommen und gehen sehen - inklusive unterschiedlicher Inhaber unserer Basis. Doch durch all den Wandel blieb eine Konstante: Frank.
Er ist nicht nur unser Basisleiter, er ist das Herz und das Rückgrat von MDS.
Frank, danke für deine unerschütterliche Treue, dein Herzblut und deine Geduld. Danke, dass du MDS in den letzten 10 Jahren durch alle Gezeiten mitgesteuert hast. Du bist der Herzschlag dieser Basis.
