𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲...

On a group call several weeks ago, I asked what I thought would be a yes/no question.

(To niche or not to niche)

But it was met with a follow up, probing question.

This question, whilst straight forward, and to the point, opened up my mind, created a massive crater in my thinking, my business and who I am here to support.

The question was "so tell me about your favourite clients..."

I talked about people that I've worked with at Oxford University, about an amazing young woman that I have supported since we
met in 2017, and several others.

And the response was simple "Oh, you help people with expansion"

This word is what I've been seeking for many years, and it encapsulates me, what I am here to do and who I am here to support.

BOOM 💥

Light bulbs and rockets were going off in my head

A real clarity moment.

No ambiguity

No fancy, dressed up language to make me sound good.

𝗦𝗼, 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗲...

And all is good regardless

You see, as a coach I look beyond the persona that you present to the world, for this is just a facade that your mind has created as being presentable to the world

We all do this, it is not a criticism, but merely an acknowledgment of the many and various masks that our creative minds have conjured up.

For whatever reason (safety, protection, fitting-in, etc) our minds create a protection mechanism, something to show to the world.

One day when you are feeling extra brave, and like it is time to remove one (or more) of your protective masks, the world will ready to see the real you!
