A few weekends ago the Seagulls women, along with , competed in the Cremas Beach Challenge. Throughout the two days we kept our spirits high, adapted to different weathers, winds, and strategies, and were tested by the amazing women’s teams from all around Europe. We had a blast learning more ultimate, bonding as a newly formed team, and working hard for every single point!

Hace unas semanas, las chicas de Seagulls junto con las de Piratas competimos en el Cremas Beach Challenge. A lo largo de los dos días de torneo mantuvimos el ánimo alto, nos adaptamos a diferentes climas, vientos y estrategias. Nos pusieron a prueba increíbles equipos femeninos de toda Europa. Nos lo pasamos en grande aprendiendo más Ultimate, uniéndonos como un equipo recién formado, ¡y trabajando duro por cada punto!

We are delighted to announce that the third season of Seagulls starts on September 8 at 10:00 📍Las Arenas Beach 🥏 This season will be, to say the least, spectacular: great training sessions, national and international events and tournaments, beach and grass games, and a long etcetera.

Everyone is more than welcome to play with us. Just bring good vibes and a lot of energy.

Estamos encantados de anunciar que la tercera temporada de Seagulls comienza el 8 de septiembre a las 10:00 📍 Playa de las Arenas 🥏 Esta temporada será, cuanto menos, espectacular: grandes sesiones de entrenamientos, eventos y torneos nacionales e internacionales, juegos en playa y en césped, y un largo etcétera.

Todo el mundo está más que bienvenido a jugar con nosotros. sólo hay que traer buen rollo y mucha energía.

This is how our first tournament started last weekend: the first Seagulls chant.

It has been 2 intense days playing with high level teams. We have seen how the team has played better than ever, executing strategies that we are starting to assimilate as a team. In 2 days we have grown a lot as a team, in 2 days we have experienced many emotions together. Both individually and as a team, we have fought for every point.

But not only have we played with top level teams, we have also met a huge amount of wonderful people during this weekend and we are looking forward to meet in future tournaments. Always keeping the spirit on and off the field.

We took a position 12 out of 15, and this only encourages us to improve to get better scores in these high level tournaments.

Seagulls is still aiming to grow as a team, we always keep improving!

Así es cómo empezó nuestro primer torneo el pasado fin de semana: el primer canto de Seagulls.

Han sido 2 días intensos jugando con equipos de mucho nivel. Hemos visto cómo el equipo ha jugado mejor que nunca, ejecutando estrategias que estamos empezando a asimilar como equipo. En 2 días hemos crecido mucho como equipo, en 2 días hemos vivido muchas emociones juntos. Tanto de forma individual como en equipo, hemos luchado cada punto.

Pero no solamente hemos jugado con equipos de alto nivel, también hemos conocido una cantidad enorme de personas maravillosas durante este fin de semana y que estamos deseando encontrarnos en futuros torneos. Siempre manteniendo el espíritu dentro y fuera del campo.

Nos llevamos una posición 12 de 15, y esto únicamente nos anima a mejorar para conseguir mejores puntuaciones en estos torneos de alto nivel.

Seagulls sigue teniendo como objetivo crecer como equipo, ¡siempre seguimos mejorando!

We have been working very hard during this season to achieve several goals. And you can see some of them.
1. We have a new logo! It sums up our friendly spirit along with the concept of a game that doesn't stop until the disc hits the ground.
2. We have a new (temporary) uniform! Our final uniforms are still in process but in the meantime we got a team jersey. It feels sooooo cool.
And... 🥁🥁🥁
3. We are playing in next weekend! This is by far the most expected achievement of this season and it's already a reality. We are playing as a team after training hard but keeping the excitement of playing together. We are looking forward to playing and competing against great friends who have met us during this season.

PS: in this photo there is still one more member missing from our roster: Marko, the great adventurer.
PS2: a toast to all those who train and play hard every week but are unable to play in the tournament. We will miss you all a lot 🫶🏼

Esta foto tiene muchos comunicados 📢
Hemos trabajado muy duro durante esta temporada para lograr varios objetivos. Y podéis ver algunos de ellos.
1. ¡Tenemos un nuevo logo! Resume nuestro espíritu amistoso junto con el concepto de un juego que no se detiene hasta que el disco toca el suelo.
2. ¡Tenemos un nuevo uniforme (provisional)! Nuestros uniformes definitivos aún están en proceso, pero mientras tanto tenemos una camiseta de equipo. Sienta taaaan bien.

3. ¡Vamos a jugar en el torneo Costa Brava el próximo fin de semana! Este es de lejos el logro más esperado de esta temporada y ya es una realidad. Estamos jugando como un equipo después de entrenar duro pero manteniendo la emoción de jugar juntos. Estamos deseando jugar y competir contra grandes amigos que nos han conocido durante esta temporada.

PD: en esta foto todavía falta un miembro más en nuestra plantilla: Marko, el gran aventurero.
PD2: un brindis por todos los que entrenan y juegan duro cada semana pero les ha sido imposible jugar en el torneo. Os echaremos mucho de menos 🫶🏼

How funny is to play on grass once in a while. Thanks once again for organizing an afternoon full of good games and good vibes. We're looking forward to another game day on grass - hopefully next time it will be on a big field!
Our competition team continues growing and facing bigger and bigger challenges. Now we have a few months of Ultimate ahead of us, let's keep it going!
This is our dream team.

Qué divertido es jugar en césped de vez en cuando. Gracias Dalila una vez más por organizar una tarde llena de buenos partidos y buen rollo. Estamos deseando que llegue otro día de partido sobre hierba, ¡ojalá la próxima vez sea en un campo grande!
Nuestro equipo de competición sigue creciendo y afrontando retos cada vez mayores. Ahora nos esperan unos meses llenos de Ultimate. ¡Seguimos!

Last Saturday February 3rd, several boys from Seagulls participated in Mediterráneo Salvaje tournament.

A total of 9 boys from Seagulls and got together to participate as Dimonis. We learned a bunch of new drills and strategies and also we had so much fun. This has not been the first time than Dimonis and Seagulls played together but it's been the first time in an Open tournament. Thanks Dimonis for welcoming us to your team, you’re great players with even better spirit 💜

We look forward to meeting you again in future tournaments, see you on the field!

El pasado sábado 3 de febrero, varios chicos de Seagulls participamos en el torneo Mediterráneo Salvaje.

Un total de 9 chicos de Seagulls y Dimonis nos reunimos para participar como Dimonis. Aprendimos un montón de nuevos ejercicios y estrategias y también nos divertimos mucho. Esta no ha sido la primera vez que Dimonis y Seagulls hemos jugado juntos pero sí ha sido la primera vez en un torneo Open. Gracias Dimonis por acogernos en vuestro equipo, sois jugadores geniales con un espíritu aún mejor 💜

Estamos deseando coincidir con vosotros de nuevo en futuros torneos, ¡nos vemos en el terreno de juego!

Last Saturday February 3rd, several girls from Seagulls participated in Mediterráneo Salvaje tournament.

A total of 11 girls from Seagulls and got together at the last minute to create a team few days before the tournament. The resulting team was called Pigulls. We had never trained together before, never played on the same team before. However, magic happened and from the very first moment we all had a great understanding and were able to play wonderfully as a team. Good strategy, good defense, good fitness, good spirit.

All this made us win 100% of the games in the tournament.

We couldn't be happier with what we achieved that day. We enjoyed it to the fullest and we are looking forward to playing more times together. Thanks for everything 💜

PS: in this picture is missing our dearest Bea, who played 2 of the 3 games and got the final point of the longest and most difficult play of the whole tournament.

El pasado sábado 3 de febrero, varias chicas de Seagulls participamos en el torneo Mediterráneo Salvaje.

Un total de 11 chicas de Seagulls y Piratas nos juntamos en el último momento para crear un equipo pocos días antes del torneo. El equipo resultante se llamó Pigulls. Nunca antes habíamos entrenado juntas, nunca antes habíamos jugado en el mismo equipo. Sin embargo, la magia sucedió y desde el primer momento todas estuvimos muy compenetradas y pudimos jugar de una forma maravillosa como equipo. Buena estrategia, buena defensa, buena condición física, buen espíritu.

Todo esto hizo que ganáramos el 100% de los partidos del torneo.

No podemos estar más felices de lo que conseguimos aquel día. Disfrutamos al máximo y estamos deseando jugar más veces juntas. Gracias por todo 💜

PD: en la foto falta nuestra queridísima Bea, que jugó 2 de los 3 partidos y consiguió el punto definitivo de la jugada más larga y difícil de todo el torneo.
