Está estratégicamente ubicado en el término municipal de Casares, entre Marbella y Sotogrande, con acceso directo desde la autovía. Goza de una excelente situación, entre el mar y la montaña, que permite disfrutar de magníficas vistas tanto del Mediterráneo como de Sierra Bermeja o la Serranía de Ronda. El mar puede observarse desde casi todos los hoyos. Estas vistas hacen que jugar en Doña Julia sea un verdadero privilegio. Durante los primeros siete hoyos se asciende hasta llegar al tee del hoyo 8, el punto más alto del campo, que ofrece una panorámica espectacular. Los siguientes once, de regreso, brindan una perspectiva muy distinta pero igualmente impresionante. El campo de golf, con 5976 metros y par 71, fue diseñado por el prestigioso arquitecto malagueño Antonio García Garrido en 2005, y construido según las normas de la USGA, en lo referente a tees, greens, bunkers y drenajes. Los greens son amplios (con una media de 700 m2) y las calles anchas. Aunque algunos hoyos son desafiantes, se trata de un campo equilibrado que ofrece una experiencia divertida al golfista, independientemente de su hándicap. Doña Julia Golf is an essential visit for those who are in the western part of the Costa del Sol. It is perfectly situated in Casares, between Marbella and Sotogrande, with direct access from the motorway. It has an excellent location, between the sea and the mountains, which allows you to enjoy magnificent views of both the Mediterranean and Sierra Bermeja or Serrania de Ronda. The sea can be observed from almost every hole. These views make playing at Doña Julia a real privilege. During the first seven holes you climb up to the tee of the 8th hole, the highest point of the course, which offers a spectacular panoramic view. The next eleven, on the way back, provide a very different but equally impressive perspective. The golf course, at 5976 meters and par 71, was designed by the prestigious local architect Antonio Garcia Garrido in 2005, and built according to USGA standards, in terms of tees, greens, bunkers and drainage. The greens are spacious (with an average of 700 m2) and the fairways are wide. Although some holes are challenging, it is a balanced course that offers a fun experience to the golfer, regardless the handicap.
