We had one week in the sunny south of Spain were we ran functional training sessions and yoga/ meditation classes🧘‍♀️

On top off that we took the time to explore the nearby towns and villages so there’s plenty off chances to relax at your own pace.

Do you ever find yourself struggling to get a workout started?

Try this method⬇️⬇️

Step 1) Set a timer on your phone, it can be 10, 20, 30mins or anytime you like. The choice is yours!

Step 2) Once that timer starts… GO🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ get as much as possible done within the time you’ve gave yourself.

Step 3) Stop🛑 cause you’re allowed to! You’ve just finished another session💪

💥STAYING HYDRATED💥

We have all had days when we’ve neglected this basic need - I know I’ve been guilty off it!

To function properly our body’s cells & organs NEED water.

Some off the more visible benefits we can see are:

1) Helps boost exercise performance - especially during intense workout sessions or high temperatures.

2) Improved brain function and energy levels - there has been countless research done which shows that even mild dehydration can effect mood, memory and concentration.

3) Lubricates the joints - cartilage found in the joints contain a large % off water. Long term dehydration can reduce the joints shock absorbing ability.

💥Pause Squats💥

For many squats are considered the king of exercises and extremely important to master for lifters & athletes.

There are many ways too improve squatting weight and technique - one of the best is pause squats!

Exactly how it sounds, it’s a regular squat except you pause at the bottom (or bottom & half way if you want the extra challenge.)
