Continuing with the owner's words

"In terms of components, the bike is a mixture of parts either I have lying around on my spare parts' box from previous builds or purchased specifically for this bike like, for example, the superb Honjo fenders. Handbuilt wheels with NOS Shimano Ultegra hubs and H+Son TB-14 box-section rims. 10 speed Shimano Dura-ace indexed downtube levers with a wide gearing provided by matching a Velo-Orange Grand Cru crankset 46x30T with a 11-34T rear cassette. In a previous build with similar gear combination the rear derailleur proved a bit imprecise so this time I have used a Shimano XT MTB rear derailleur with a medium cage and the shifting is flawless and crisp in all gears. Dia-Compe cantilever brakes offer enough stopping power for the kind of leisure riding I do but the feeling at the levers is not particularly great. Planning to add a dynamo front hub and light in the future"

"En cuanto a los componentes, la bicicleta es una mezcla de piezas que tengo por ahí en mi caja de piezas de repuesto de construcciones anteriores o compradas específicamente para esta bicicleta como, por ejemplo, los magníficos guardabarros Honjo. Ruedas hechas a mano con bujes Shimano Ultegra NOS y llantas H+Son TB-14 de sección cuadrada. Manetas Shimano Dura-ace de 10 velocidades indexadas en el tubo diagonal con un amplio engranaje proporcionado por un juego de bielas Velo-Orange Grand Cru 46x30T con un casete trasero 11-34T. En un montaje anterior con una combinación de marchas similar, el cambio trasero resultó ser un poco impreciso, así que esta vez he utilizado un cambio trasero Shimano XT MTB con jaula media y el cambio es impecable y nítido en todas las marchas. Los frenos cantilever Dia-Compe ofrecen suficiente potencia de frenado para el tipo de conducción de ocio que realizo, pero el tacto de las manetas no es especialmente bueno. Planeo añadir un buje delantero dinamo y luz en el futuro"bicy

Grus Grus es el nombre que reciben las Grullas comunes. Ave ligera y esbelta, con patas largas que proporcionan una buena zancada, y con potentes alas con las que pueden recorrer grandes distancias. Inspirados en las Grullas que recorren nuestras charcas y cielos, hemos querido desarrollar nuestro modelo Gr_Us gravel.

Seguimos confiando en Reynolds como nuestro proveedor de tubería. Para este cuadro hemos optado por la utilización de la gama Reynolds 725. Las características técnicas que ofrece este material son las idóneas para la construcción de un cuadro resistente y ligero. El tratamiento térmico de sus tuberías ofrece la resistencia necesaria para el concepto deseado. Una bicicleta de gravel, aventura y bikepacking.

Grus Grus is the name for the common crane. It's a light and slender bird, with long legs that provide a good stride and powerful wings that allow them to cover great distances. Inspired by the Cranes that grace our ponds and skies, we've developed our Gr_Us gravel model.

We continue to put our trust in Reynolds as our tubing supplier. For this frame, we've opted for the use of the Reynolds 725 range. The technical characteristics of this material are ideal for constructing a sturdy yet lightweight frame. The heat treatment of its tubing provides the necessary strength for the desired concept: a gravel, adventure, and bikepacking bike.
