We, Adrian Salamon and Fabian Bergman, are sailing in the 29er class together. Here you can follow our adventures and support us!

We are both born 1998 and have been sailing and have known eachother for a long time. We are both living and studying in Stockholm while training. We have been sailing together since the fall of 2014.

The first two days of the Worlds have now been sailed here in Pwllheli. The conditions have been tough with big breeze and steep waves. We're unhappy with our results so far but the forecast says lighter winds the coming days and we're looking to improve our results!

Four more races today and we are really pumped!

Ready for the 29er World Championships in Pwllheli, Wales!

Today we had a practice race and the opening ceremony and we are looking forward to the racing tomorrow with over 200 boats competing!

9:th at the 29er Europeean Championships!

The 29:er Europeans in Medemblik, The Netherlands just finished a few days ago and we are now back in Sweden. We are happy with the result in the gold fleet, but our qualifying series was really bad. We made it in to the Gold fleet with just 1 point. In the gold fleet we had 2 really good days and moved up to finish the regatta in 9:th place!

We are now looking forward to the Worlds in Wales, and since our speed in stronger wind has improved a lot we should be able to sail well and hopefully have a good result!

Silver at the Swedish National Championships! Our national championships have just ended and we claimed the silver after a tough start of the regatta! Congratulations to our training partners Emil/Julius and Theo/Simon for claiming the other podium positions!

Today we had all kinds of winds. In the morning we had to wait to be sent out because we had no wind. After an hour the AP came down and we sailed out to the course. Just before the start the wind really picked up to about 16 knots, and as we are a really light crew, we did not like this. We had a good start and realized that our speed wasn't that bad! We took our first bullet in stronger winds on a international regatta and we were really happy!

The second race was in much lighter conditions. After jumping between fifth and first the whole race, we managed to get quite a lead by the last downwind. Suddenly our wind completely disappeared and 3 boats sailed past us. We weren't really happy about this but we think that we are still in the lead of the regatta.

Now regatta dinner and prepping for tomorrow!

Today we had much lighter wind than in the training days. It was really good racing even though the wind was shifty and gusty!
We took advantage of our favorite conditions and took two bullets and one second place and are currently leading the regatta with a good forecast for tomorrow!

Lighter winds today at the first day of the Eurocup in Cavalaire, France with 90 boats participating. Looking forward to fun racing!

Today the wind was really gusty and sometimes really really strong. We went out for about 2 hours and capsized about 10 times, it was crazy. The wind's strength changed between 6-36 knots ( 3-18 m/s) and shifted sometimes 180 degrees.

Later on shore when we had our coach briefing, a really strong gust on about 40-44 knots hit the shore and the 49ers, even though they had big rocks to keep them down, just flew away and landed on top of each other!

Some news!

Yesterday we arrived here in Cavalaire, French Riviera. We sailed between 11:00-13:00 before lunch and we were supposed to go out again at 14:00, but Mother Nature had other thoughts. A strong wind from the north, between 24-35 knots, made the conditions survival and even though we tried, we only managed to sail for 30 minutes. Hopefully it will get better tomorrow otherwise we'll do some physical training and some theory with our coach tomorrow.

The plan is that we are going to train with the Danish from today onwards to Wednesday. Thursday we will have a lay-day and then on Friday the Eurocup starts. After the Eurocup we will train with the other Swedish boats for another 5 days!

Right now we are prepping for a really important game of football against the Danish and hoping that our boat won't fly away during the night👍

Detta gamla foto hittade jag idag när det var städdags. Fotot är taget 2011 på en lagseglingstävling i Berlin, tillsammans med besättningen Järudd/Hallström så slutade laget på en 4:e plats vilket var stort! Vi håller nog alla med mig när jag säger att det var här vi toppade våra seglings-karriärer! ;) // Fabian
