This iconic Puente Zubizuri was designed by famous architect Santiago Calatrava with beautiful glass tiles on the walkway. But when it rains (which happens a lot in the Basque Country 🌧️), the glass became so slippery that the city had to add rubber mats over parts of the bridge to prevent people from falling.
