Several teams attended El Cid Bowls Club from up and down the Costa Blanca and beyond, for their annual Aussie Pairs tournament over the last 2 days. Some great bowling and a tight finish. The BBC team (photo below) of Dave Dickinson and Richard Potts held on to win. They were closely followed by Greg & Christina and in third place Yvonne and Dave Hall. Well done El Cid for running another excellent tournament.

Excellent event organised by Solar in Spain today at Benitachell Bowls Club with more than 30 people attending. The lively presentation gave the audience an excellent understanding of Solar systems, heat pumps and car chargers. We really value community events like this allowing members, friends and local people to meet up, learn whats available and improve their property.

Well done to all the teams who entered the Peter Collins 422 competition at BBC over Friday and Saturday. An excellent 2 days was had by all. In particular the winners photographed below. Thanks also to John Ranger for his excellent service over the last 8 years as Competition Secretary, without volunteers the club simply could not survive. Thanks also to Maria Morawiec of Dragon Insurance for sponsoring this excellent tournament.
