SEPTIEMBRE Y OCTUBRE.

Hay algo especial en navegar en estos meses.

El mar se humaniza, descienden el ruido y las pulsaciones, vuelve el aire agradable de respirar…aunque el agua todavía conserve esa calidez de otro verano que se fue para siempre ya.

Ni el sol ni las prisas de los turistas estresados aprietan, ni los grandes grupos, ni las noches cortas ni los días largos.

Ahora dormimos más y mejor, y surge esa luz mágica que anuncia el final del verano infinito.

Miramos atrás y nos damos cuenta de que estos meses han dejado un montón de caras, conversaciones, risas, aventuras y momentos que, por mucho que queramos, ya no nos caben todos en la cabeza, y da un poco de rabia la verdad.

Pediré dos mil kilos de haya y olivo -por las noche hace frío en invierno- y unos cuantos libros de caballerías.

Ya estoy soñando con esquiar y hacer algunas cumbres, pues cerraremos Diciembre y Enero; necesito vivir mi primera vida que fue la montañera: ¿estaré -no alto- sino a la altura?

Eso lo decidirá la bici -no yo- pues es la vara de medir más fiel y que mejor me conoce.

Empieza el cole, seguimos navegando, comienzan los primeros entrenamientos de vela en invierno del melón…¡y yo con él! 🥰

Métete en problemas me dijo mi padre; y luego…¡sal de ellos!

Y vaya si le hice caso.❤️

Se acaba agosto y empieza mi mes favorito para hacer kayak: SEPTIEMBRE.

Y los motivos son bien sencillos de entender: el aire es respirable, el agua está caliente y la luz quizá sea la más bonita del año.

Hay menos gente, menos ruido y todo resulta mucho más humano, tranquilo y encantador.

Y, sobre todo, es mucho más agradable y saludable navegar en septiembre que hacerlo, como nos ha tocado algunos días de agosto, con unos calores dantescos.

Para mí, no hay duda: septiembre es el mejor mes del año para hacer kayak en Benidorm.

The reasons are very simple: the air is breathable, the water is warm, and the light is perhaps the most beautiful of the whole year.

There are fewer people, less noise, and everything feels much more human, peaceful and charming.

And above all, kayaking in September is far more pleasant and healthy than doing it, as we have had to on some days in August, in truly brutal heat.

For me, there is no doubt: September is the best month of the year for kayaking in Benidorm.

AGOSTO EN BENIDORM.

El plan por excelencia, si buscas una actividad náutica con una buena relación calidad-precio, es el kayak.

No peques de ingenuo: por las tardes hace un calor de cojones, aunque el atardecer es muy bonito, lo reconozco.

A las 10:00 está, sin duda, la gran excursión. Menos calor, el viento térmico aún no ha comenzado y, por tanto, tampoco hay un gran oleaje que te pueda marear. Y cuando te tires al mar a ver pececitos, habrá mucha más luz debajo del agua.

Fin de la historia.

Trae agua, no salgas de fiesta la noche anterior, no seas tonto y haz las cosas bien.

Yo, a cambio, te voy a dar la mejor mañana y quizá las mejores fotos de tus vacaciones.

Si no tienes ganas de remar o has salido de fiesta, no vengas.

If you’re looking for a water activity with a great price-to-experience ratio, kayaking is the obvious choice.

Don’t be naïve: it gets fu***ng hot in the afternoons, although I’ll admit the sunset is beautiful.

At 10:00, without a doubt, it’s the best tour. Less heat, the thermal wind hasn’t started yet, so there isn’t much wave action to make you seasick. And when you jump into the sea to look at the little fish, there will be much more light underwater.

End of story.

Bring water. Don’t go out partying the night before. Don’t be stupid. Do things properly.

In return, I’ll give you the best morning and quite possibly the best photos of your holiday.

If you don’t feel like paddling or you’ve been out partying, don’t come.

Junio es uno de los mejores momentos para navegar en kayak. Días largos, cielo azul y la sensación de que el verano acaba de empezar 🌞

Es el momento perfecto para salir del ruido al que estamos acostumbrados sin darnos cuenta: prisas, pantallas, mensajes, tráfico… todo eso que parece normal pero no lo es.
