Suomalainen naisten buhurt-joukkue. Finnish women buhurt team. Bohurt is a team sport in which there are different cafegories such as 5 vs 5 and 3 vs 3.

We are proud to present to you the very first and at the moment the only Finnish all women bohurt team! Bohurt is a full contact combat sport fought with medieval gear including armour and weapons of choice. On this page we'll keep you updated about any news regarding the team and events where you can come and see for yourselves what all the fuss is about. There will be some videos and photos of

the fighters in action. In order to join in on the fun and try the sport feel free to contact any of our team members or send us a message to the page. You only need a pair of sweat pants and a sports bra to get started! These ladies are simply not the ones in need of rescuing. Hakkaa päälle!

Way of Honor is easily one of our favourite tournaments but this summer, it felt especially good to be back. 💚🖤

Unfortunately, this year Kivuttaret couldn’t put together team of our own. But skipping Way of Honor completely? Yeah… that was never really an option. 😅

If we can’t bring Kivuttaret, we’ll find our fighters somewhere else to fight. So Tinja, Sarianne and Pinja packed their armour and joined the French team V E S P E R A as mercenaries. 🇫🇮🤝🇫🇷

We’ve fought against Vespera many times, so we already knew exactly how skilled these women are. This time, however, we finally got to stand on the same side and turns out, we make a pretty effective team. 👀🔥

Together we fought our way to GOLD in Women’s 5vs5! 🥇

And our alliance also took GOLD in Women’s 12vs12. 🥇⚔️

Thank you Louizu and the whole Vespera team for welcoming us and letting us fight alongside you. We had absolute blast!

And of course, where there are Kivuttaret, you’ll usually find Antti Tarkkala next to the list. Our trusted support was there once again, keeping us going. This time Mathias K Søjborg also found his way to our side of the list – thank you guys for helping us perform at our best. 🖤

Thank you Eisenliga for a tournament organised with that German precision we know and love, and Buhurt International for the reliable and fighter-respecting way you do things. After this summer, we appreciated both more than ever.

But more than the medals, we’re leaving Germany grateful. Grateful for a well-organised tournament. For old friends, new friends, and a ridiculous amount of fun together.

This is exactly why we keep coming back. 💚🖤

Okay… this was a tough one! First of all, we want to say how grateful we are for the opportunity to compete at the Buhurt International Invitationals. Receiving a last-minute invitation was already exciting, but what made this trip even more meaningful was the chance to give two of our newer fighters valuable international experience before the IMCF World Championships.

And experience… well, we definitely got that. 😅
This trip threw more unexpected challenges at us than we could have imagined. Health issues followed our team throughout the weekend, and with only seven fighters travelling, every setback mattered. Still, we stepped onto the field for every single match. ⚔💥

We are incredibly proud of our two newer fighters, Maria and Sarppa. Both of you have grown so much since you first picked up an axe. Watching your progress has been one of the highlights of this season. 💚

No team succeeds alone. A huge thank you to our amazing support crew: Antti, Jani and Katleena. You kept us going throughout the weekend, and hearing the crowd cheer for Finland was something we’ll never forget. 🖤

Against all expectations, this incredible team fought its way to a silver medal. 🥈
Honestly, we didn’t expect to come home with silver, not this time. That makes us even prouder of how everyone stepped up and kept fighting despite everything the weekend threw at us.

Congratulations to White Company Women on a well-deserved gold medal. Your teamwork and consistency were inspiring to watch. 💚

Congratulations also to Iron Wolves Women on your first international tournament and your second tournament ever. It was a pleasure to fight against you, and we’re looking forward to meeting you again at the IMCF World Championships. It was also wonderful to recognize the influence of our dear friends, the Søjborg brothers, in your fighting style. ⚔

In just two weeks we’ll be back on the field at the IMCF World Championships, Spøttrup Castle. We can’t wait to meet friends from around the world and represent Finland once again.

Next stop: Denmark! 🇫🇮⚔💚🖤

There are few things better than spending a weekend with old and new friends, and sharing the list together. 💚🖤

We had the pleasure of joining Hämeen Keskiaikafestivaali 12.-14.6.2026 in Hämeenlinna. There was fighting, laughter, catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a while. ⚔💥

Now it’s time to turn our focus towards the next adventure. Romania is calling, and we’re getting ready for the Buhurt International Invitationals. Last preparations, gear gets checked (again), and excitement is definitely starting to build!

Holy s**t this is happening. 🤩

Kivuttaret is heading to Romania this July for Buhurt Invitational by .international ⚔️

Buhurt Invitational is an elite invitation tournament held at Oradea Fortress on 3.–5.7.2026. You can’t just sign up for this one. Teams are invited.

And yes… Kivuttaret is going. 💚🖤

We have known about this for a little while already. Since then we have been figuring out work schedules, days off, flights, armor logistics and everything else needed to make this trip happen.

And now it’s finally certain:
we are coming to Romania.

Is it too early to start packing already? Because honestly, we are SO excited for this one. 🔥

Way of Honor! One week ago we fought at Way of Honor, germany. How did we do and how we felt about the event?

The event was really good, well done Alexander Jost and rest of the crew!

Heat was overwhelming, but organizers had solutions for that: they made sure we had shadow to sit on, water to drink and cold outdoor shower! We fell in love with the shower, real life saver! ❤️‍🔥

There was breakfast for fighters, which was great solution for our teams. Event had different food stands so everyone could just pick what they want to eat. Ice cream and cold coca cola tasted pretty good after fighting in 32°C!

Marshaling was mostly great at Way of Honor. Marshals where strict and clear when needed, but did not intercept the fights without good reason. We had one situation, where our team was a bit worried about safety of our injured fighter. In this situation, we would have hoped fight to be stopped and injured fighter to be removed frofield for her safety. Marshals where experienced and tournament was running fluently. 🐝

Women 5vs5 had strong teams participating. Fights where hard and we enjoyed every second of it! It felt so good to meet everyone inside and outside of the list.

Our team had one drop out just before the tournament so we entered Way of Honor with 7 fighters. During the tournament, one of our girls injured and we ended up fighting with 6 fighters. We would lie if we’d say this does not effect to our state of mind when fighting. This is also something we love in buhurt: you find yourself in hard situations. It forces you to do some self-examination. This is how you learn more about yourself and grow as human being and fighter.

We did overcome our obatacles and ended up to bronze at 5vs5.
At 12vs12 we splitted our team and ended up with straight flush from Way of Honor: 🥇🥈🥉

Special thanks to fighters travelling with us. You made us smile when we felt blue and you made us stronger when we felt weak. 💚

Womens National Team Finland brings home two gold medals and one bronze from IMCF world championships! 🥇🥇🥉

Our teams did excellent work in every categories. All teams had Kivuttaret fighters in. So proud of each and every woman. 💙🤍

We had more first timers than old dogs in this tournament. We have been working so hard passed 4 years, and here we are today. Our fighters feel very motivated and we are starting to look forward to our next fights! 🔥
