🌍🌱 Green L.A.B.S. (Go Greener Together): Building a Sustainable Future 🌱🌍
From November 21 to December 1, 2024, the beautiful town of Gytheio hosted the Erasmus+ Training Course Green L.A.B.S., bringing together participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Estonia, and Turkey to promote green consciousness and develop sustainable skills for combating climate change.
🙏 ASL Game Masters was represented by Tsvetelina Tsvetanova, Emil Georgiev, Evgeni Sirakov, and Nir Baruh.
💡 Key Highlights:
✅ We explored the critical connection between climate change and human rights, diving into the causes and consequences of global warming.
✅ Through interactive workshops, presentations, and games, we learned green skills, discussed sustainable practices, and tackled challenging topics like building a nuclear power plant during a city council simulation.
✅ Special focus was placed on local climate awareness and developing actionable human rights-based climate solutions.
🍽️ Intercultural Evening:
Participants showcased their countries’ traditions, cuisines, and cultures, making it an unforgettable exchange of ideas and flavors.
♻️ Sustainability in Action:
We learned about recycling, reuse, repair, and even discovered creative new recipes to minimize waste.
🌍 Exploration and Connections:
In our free time, we explored the historic region of Laconia, strengthening friendships and sharing ideas to make our planet greener and more sustainable.
