Op 5 jarige leeftijd begon hij al met rijden op een minibike. Na het behalen van deze titel was het tijd om de volgende stap te maken. In 2019 is hij bij de “Cuna de Campiones” in Spanje gaan rijden op een Moto5. De Moto5 is een luchtgekoelde 250cc motor. De wedstrijden werden verreden op de grote circuits in Spanje. ij meerdere podiums behaald en is uiteindelijk 8e geëindigd in de eindstand. In 2020 was Owen toe aan een nieuw avontuur en is hij begonnen in de Moto4 klasse bij het Spaanse Fuertes Racingteam. Een moto4 machine is een Moto3 machine met een kleiner motorblok. Het motorblok is een Honda CRF 150cc met circa 30 pk. Het niveau in deze klasse is zeer hoog en een mooie klasse voor de leercurve en hij heeft dit seizoen heel veel geleerd. Seizoen 2021 gaat Owen de samenwerking aan met het Spaanse raceteam Larresport in de Hawkers European Talent Cup. Dit is de standaard moto3 klasse met het hoogst haalbare niveau op zijn jonge leeftijd. De leeftijd van de coureurs in deze klasse is vanaf 12 t/m 17 jaar. Het plan is om 3 jaar in deze klasse te rijden en hierna door te stromen naar het World Junior Moto3 kampioenschap. Zijn ultieme doel is de Moto3 klasse bij de Motogp. ENGLISH

Owen is only 12 years old, but has years of experience in motorbike racing. At the age of 5 he started riding a minibike. In 2018 he won the title Dutch Champion Minibike. After obtaining this title it was time to take the next step. In 2019 he started riding a Moto5 at the "Cuna de Campiones" in Spain. The Moto5 is an air cooled 250cc engine. The races were held on the big circuits in Spain. In the first race Owen was already on the podium, in this season he has achieved several podiums and eventually finished 8th in the final standings. In 2020 Owen was ready for a new adventure and started in the Moto4 class with the Spanish Fuertes Racing team. A Moto4 machine is a Moto3 machine with a smaller engine. The engine is a Honda CRF 150cc with about 30 hp. The level in this class is very high and a nice class for the learning curve and he has learned a lot this season. Season 2021 Owen will cooperate with the Spanish racing team Larresport in the Hawkers European Talent Cup. This is the standard motorcycle3 class with the highest achievable level at his young age. The age of the drivers in this class is from 12 to 17 years. The plan is to ride in this class for 3 years and then move on to the World Junior Moto3 Championship. His ultimate goal is the Moto3 class at Motogp.
