Incredible performance by the OutKast 07/08 team! Going 5-0 (Don Battles) and outscoring their opponents 40-10 is no small feat. Our pitching and defense were phenomenal, with three shutouts led by Mia Guzman and Anai Lopez. These two outstanding pitchers combined for over 30 strikeouts with ZERO walks and shutouts. Our defense was flawless, committing ZERO errors in five games. Carolina Chong led the team with 12 putouts, making several incredible plays at shortstop.

As a team, our ladies batted over .460, racking up 51 hits, 4 home runs, and 39 RBIs. Every player contributed to this team's success. Olympia and Camila spearheaded the offensive onslaught, each batting over .650, combining for 16 hits, 7 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 home run.

This team has been playing exceptional softball over the past month. Our team chemistry has been the key to our success. We will be a formidable force in this week's tournament in Las Vegas, where we aim to return as champions.

I am incredibly proud of these ladies. It’s heartening to see that many will continue their softball journey at the collegiate level. Congratulations, ladies! Your hard work and dedication are truly paying off. Let's keep this momentum going and enjoy this week's tournament in Las Vegas!

Congratulations to our 18U OutKast Softball Team! I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to each and every one of you for your incredible performance in reaching the finals of the tournament. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork truly shined throughout every game, and I am so proud of all of you.You all showed immense determination and skill on the field, and your victory against teams that were predicted to win the tournament is a testament to your talent and perseverance. The pitching was outstanding, the hitting was timely, and the defense was strong - you truly played great softball.I am so grateful to have the opportunity to coach such a talented and dedicated group of young women.
