No everything has to fit perfectly. The system is yours to use how you please. Some days the duffel can we packed perfectly with packing cubes, RUX organizer panels and coolers for the trip and others you throw the skate in, a cooler with some snacks and a hoodie and away you go!

Palisades Tahoe! We’re back on the road and looking forward to another weekend of vans, gear, and good people.

We’ll be at on September 12 with our trusty loaded to the brim with all things RUX. If you’ve been curious about the gear, want to see how we have the van set up, or just want to talk organization, road trips, and life outside, come find us.

We’ll have plenty of RUX gear on hand to check out, along with a few cold ones for anyone who wants to hang around for a bit.

These events are always a great chance for us to meet people in person, hear how you’re using your gear, and swap a few ideas for the next adventure.

The orange 70L Gearbox, and our boards have spent most of summer being driven around Europe without much use at all, the Atlantic has a bit of a break this summer and when there has been swell we´ve been in the wrong place. So is the way with surfing sometimes. Finally though we were in the right place, Cantabria in northern Spain for a small but perfectly formed week of waves and light offshore breeze.
After a especially hot European summer I finally un-hooked the gearbox from the rails on the roof of the sprinter and dropped it to the ground. Wetsuits, leashes, fins and even a fin-key (rare find), all our i had packed them back in June. Even most of the wax was in-tact which was genuinely surprising.
Boards were prepped, and muscles stretched after the long summer of w**e and croissants. The tide was coming of low and the waves looked small and fun, behind the beach the green hills and terracotta roofed houses glistened under the gaze of the 2500m peaks of the Picos de Europa.
We didn´t get out till dark, packed the gear, ready for tomorrow.

You’ll be at the centre of the day-to-day at RUX, helping keep orders moving, customers happy, inventory organized, and the studio running smoothly. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to learn how an independent outdoor brand operates behind the scenes.

Summer is starting to wind down, which feels like a pretty good reason to leave the phone at home this weekend.
