The Masters has started again after a pleasant summer break.
Round 7 was played on 4th September 2026 in humid conditions and with recently hollow tined greens and sandy conditions on the first cut. As always the scoring was exceptional! here are the winners of each category:
Division 1.

Book and Mosaic clubs.
We are re-opening on Sept 4th at 2pm - 4pm at Vista Verde, Costa Esuri. Come along and see us!
From now on we will open 1st and 3rd Thursday each month.

Many congratulations to the Isla Canela Links team and captain Les Bell for their hard work and determination in winning the Huelva league trophy. A fitting round off to the golfing year.

The Masters round 6 took place on 26th June and was sponsored by Ace Golf club hire. Congratulations to Danny MacDougall for a great score as the lowest handicap player on the day.

What a great result for our links team! Our first ever overall win in this competition. Here is a superb contribution from Garfield Harrison.
Buenos tardes team. a fantastic achievement this season to win the League for the very first time in 18 years of trying 👏 You will all go down in ICL folklore forever!! The fight and determination shown over the weekend was truly outstanding. Special mention must go to our Captain and Leader Les Bell, on doing a fantastic job throughout the season 👏 We love the way Les leads the team from the front. Also, a special mention to our Vice Captain Mick Cross, who's knowledge about team golf kept everyone on the right track. Then you have our ladies, Trudy and Mandy. Without them, it just wouldn't have happened. Mandy in the semi-final final carried the whole team on her shoulders and produced the goods when the season was on the line. Anyone who witnessed this will remember it forever. We are heading back to Northern Ireland for the summer with a permanent smile on my face. You have helped me tick one of my boxes that was at the top of my list. Many thanks for the fantastic memories, and I look forward to seeing you all again in September. Maybe we can add a second star to our playing shirts in 2027?? (Great idea, Declan). We have a very special group so please look after yourselves. Take care, G.

The Masters Round 5 took place on 19th June 2026. The event was sponsored by our hosts for the day Daga Bar. High temperatures on the day but great golf.

Fantastic Semi Final win at 2nd playoff hole v Bellavista. The team never Knows when is beaten!! Onwards to next weeks Ryder cup final v Old course. great finale to the season.
