Hello to everyone.
It's hard to believe that this will be my last monthly message before handing over the baton to Harry at the end of the month. I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to the many people who have helped me throughout my year, it has been so appreciated. I will of course thank you all personally over the coming month.
But, back to business.

LEAGUE MATCHES
Not a good month for league match results ..... played three and lost three. Many thanks to everyone who supported the club for these games.
In a busy March we have another two league matches, let's hope we get a couple of victories.

COURSE CONDITION
Fairways and greens still in good condition. The fringes are being worked on, but they won't be done overnight.
We have set up a sub committee to concentrate on the course. Malcolm A, Harry and myself will be trying to keep the course improvements going in the right direction.
GENERAL
1. I am aware that there are some members with issues regarding members' contracts. I'm talking about areas such as ..... eight month deals, contract small print and "one off deals" ... amongst other things. I will be having a meeting with Javier on my return from the UK, when I will bring up these issues. You will be kept informed.
2. Entry now available for Captain's Day on 31st March, with tickets available for the evening bash. If anyone would like to donate any prizes, or indeed sponsor a hole, please feel free and get in touch. I am of course very grateful to those of you that have already agreed to do so.
