⛰️ A gruelling final day in the mountains to wrap up a tough week at the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

At the summit finish on Plateau de Solaison, Bilbao, Van Mechelen and Arndt crossed the line for Bahrain Victorious.

It was not the luckiest race for us, with illness and the crash of our leader affecting our ambitions, but the riders kept fighting and worked hard throughout the week as preparation for the next important goals ahead.

The week still brought some strong results, with both Van Mechelen and Bauhaus sprinting to 3rd place on stages 2 and 5.

A difficult day for us on stage 6 at the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Our leader Santiago Buitrago crashed with 64 km to go. Supported by Van Mechelen and Bilbao, he fought all the way to the finish, but unfortunately lost significant time in the overall classification.
Excellent performance from Bauhaus and Arndt who were part of the large group day’s breakaway. Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
