[PREMIER TITRE NATIONAL FRANÇAIS] It is the first time I have had the opportunity to work with a French athlete, and it is immensely satisfying to bring home a national title over 200 metres, alongside a very important silver medal in the 100 metres.

Congratulations to Eric for your dedication, professionalism, and for the composure you showed during a period of reduced training caused by a minor tendon issue. Staying patient and trusting the process is often one of the hardest parts of high-performance sport, and you handled it exceptionally well.

These results are not only a reward for the work already completed, but also an encouraging step towards the challenges that lie ahead.

A long summer of preparation now stands before us as we build towards the World Championships.

[IL TALENTO RICHIEDE TEMPO]

Questo ragazzo si chiama Abel e va per i 23 anni. Questo fine settimana ha corso i 100 metri in 10.12 secondi, la seconda miglior prestazione della storia sp****la.

Ma ciò che molti non vedono è il lavoro che precede anni prima risultati come questo. Questi sono esattamente i dettagli tecnici su cui lavoravamo con lui nel 2021, quando aveva solo diciotto anni.

Sviluppare il talento nello sprint non è qualcosa che accade dall’oggi al domani. È un processo fatto di osservazione, perfezionamento tecnico e progressione paziente.

Vi assicuro che il tema dello sviluppo del talento giovanile non è qualcosa che mi sono immaginato ieri.

[WHAT DOES PROGRAMME PERSONALISATION REALLY MEAN?]

When Giorgio and I sat down to rewrite the foundations of our Online Sprint Program, we didn’t start from theory. We started from 20 years of experience and data collected on the track.

Many people criticised the idea, arguing that a track and field programme cannot be the same for everyone. Often the misunderstanding is that personalisation simply means assigning different distances, sets or repetitions to different athletes.

But the reality is far more complex.

The true variable that defines training is intensity, expressed through percentages related to running velocity in metres per second, connected both to time performances and distances covered.

This is why at Scirocco TF we create a dedicated reference table for every athlete, based on their best performances across all sprint distances. We analyse the entire performance curve, clearly identifying strengths and the specific areas that require development.

Personalisation means assigning the correct training load, not randomly distributing running distances.

The results from the recently concluded indoor season speak for themselves: eight national medals and three European medals.

[AIUTA LA RICERCA] Stiamo conducendo un progetto di ricerca per la tesi di laurea in Psicologia di Alessandro Vigo sul rapporto tra uso dello smartphone, studio e attività sportiva negli adolescenti.

Il questionario è rivolto ai ragazzi tra gli 11 e i 20 anni, di qualsiasi disciplina sportiva. È completamente anonimo, richiede circa 5–10 minuti per essere compilato e sarà aperto fino al 12 aprile 2026 alle 23:59.

[🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈] Mi sono ritrovato a fare l’allenatore di atletica leggera anche se, in fondo, continuo a sognare di essere il commissario tecnico di una squadra di calcio.

Lo desidero così tanto che, per darmi pace, ho perfino chiesto all’intelligenza artificiale di generare un’immagine capace di trasformare per un attimo questo sogno in realtà.

Intanto, però, la realtà ha fatto qualcosa di ancora più bello. Chiusi i Campionati Italiani Indoor Master 2026 si concretizza uno dei progetti più pazzi che avevo in mente: vincere un oro con tutti gli atleti Scirocco TF presenti nelle diverse gare. E così è stato.

Malatesti è il nostro grande centrocampista box-to-box: uno di quelli che ti comincia a mordere i talloni a inizio partita e non ti lascia più… fino a quando, negli ultimi venti metri, ti supera.

Neumann è l’ala che consuma l’erba a forza di avanti e indietro: pensa di dover correre 60 metri, ma correndone 200 porta comunque a casa il risultato.

Caravelli, regista e capitano veterana del team Scirocco TF, con la più lunga serie di presenze, gestisce il pallone con classe ed esperienza, dimostrandosi il pilastro in ogni momento.

E poi rientra Celentano: grande mezza punta che dopo uno stop, entra in partita e piazza una bomba sotto l’incrocio. Imparabile per qualsiasi portiere.

[102%: PASSATO IL LIMITE TEORICO]

Una volta all’anno eseguo un protocollo specifico che simula, a livello psicologico, l’evento più importante della stagione: una finale mondiale, una finale olimpica. Non per il livello prestativo, ma per la richiesta di massimo sforzo volontario.

L’obiettivo è semplice e brutale al contempo: attraverso una progressione lineare, superare la frequenza cardiaca teorica massima prevista per età e rendimento. In sostanza: una volta all’anno devo chiedere al mio cuore di andare oltre ciò che la teoria indica come limite.

Oggi ho raggiunto il 102% della mia FC massima stimata.

È una gara con altissima probabilità di sconfitta: la fisiologia, nella maggior parte dei casi, prevale sulla volontà. Ed è proprio questo il punto centrale dell’allenamento. Due sono gli aspetti chiave:

1. Condensare il massimo sforzo volontario in un solo giorno, come accade nei grandi eventi.
2. Accettare l’elevata probabilità di fallimento e, nonostante questo, gareggiare al massimo livello possibile.

Allenare la mente a chiedere tutto e accettare che non sempre “tutto” sarà sufficiente.

[LA MUSICA MIGLIORA DAVVERO LE PRESTAZIONI?]

La musica ci accompagna ovunque: al lavoro, nello studio, nello svago… e anche nello sport. Ma può davvero influenzare le performance in pista o in palestra?

Gli studi scientifici ci dicono che il ritmo giusto può migliorare sprint, ripetute e sessioni di forza. Nei lavori prolungati, la musica veloce aumenta la frequenza cardiaca e migliora l’intensità percepita, mentre brani più lenti aiutano il recupero.

In altre parole, il vero potere della musica nello sport non è tanto fisico quanto mentale: crea emozione, coinvolge, aiuta a entrare nello stato giusto per rendere al massimo.
