A Gran Fondo is a mass-participation cycling event, held on closed roads, where thousands of riders take on an iconic route together.

Your time is officially recorded, there are age categories, and many events even award podiums, prizes or qualification spots for World Championships.

Some are aiming to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
Others are simply there to challenge themselves, ride incredible roads and soak up the atmosphere.
