We always strive to offer a diversified training not only for our horses, but also for clients. Thus we are happy that we reached agreement with Gittli Kürten, who is a certified horse physiotherapist and osteopath and counts on may years of experience as a rider who has sucessfully trained and competed horses both in show-jumping as well as in dressage up to 4th level, with a focus on biomechanics to broaden our offer for clients with the following training:
Basic riding work based on the principle of biomechanical riding
The rider is trained to reflect on their own posture and that of the horse, to recognize their aids, and to use them according to their individual needs. The principle of fine riding is the focus here.
The goal is to improve the body awareness and movement sequence of both horse and rider, and to better understand the connections within the horse. This is suitable for all levels of horse and rider training, as each lesson is individually designed.
Groundwork / Horsemanship
Horse and rider are trained to understand and communicate with each other, to read and respond to the smallest signals, and thus to interact with each other respectfully and trustingly.
Body language plays a crucial role here. The goal is to improve communication between each other and to focus more on each other. It also offers a good change of pace for experienced horses and riders. The first lesson begins with a theoretical part.
The work with the horse takes place in-hand or later as free work.
Lunging
The horse should be exercised healthily and effectively. The lunger is trained to find the correct position and vary his or her aids. The focus here is on the principle of the horse's biomechanics. A theoretical section can also cover correct handling and the use of equipment.
