Oulton Park 🏁

Luca qualified in 7th and continued his impressive form with a 4th place finish in Race 1. In Race 2, despite crossing the line in 11th, there were plenty of positives to take away. Luca showed excellent pace, making his way up the pack in the opening laps and once again proving he has the speed to fight at the front of the field. While the final result didn’t reflect his true performance, the weekend highlighted his consistency, determination and growing confidence. With plenty of momentum to build on, Luca heads into the next round focused on converting that pace into another strong points finish.

Isaac had an extremely positive weekend, continuing to grow and at a circuit he enjoys and performs well at. As one of the youngest riders in the class, he showed real maturity on track qualifying 6th and securing two solid 9th place finishes in Race 1 and Race 2. He also enjoyed some good battles, confidently holding his own against far more experienced riders and demonstrating strong, consistent pace all weekend. We are extremely proud of Isaac and genuinely impressed with his riding performance and the progress he continues to make every round.

Another fantastic weekend at Brands Hatch for both Luca and Isaac! 🏆💚🏁

We started the weekend by experimenting with different gearing on both bikes. It turned out to be the wrong direction, but it’s all part of the learning process. As the weekend progressed, we made the right adjustments and the improvements showed with every session.

Isaac had another strong weekend. Having only ridden the Brands Hatch GP circuit for two 20-minute sessions before this event, he qualified an impressive 10th on the grid. He brought it home in 9th place in Race 1 before battling hard to finish 8th in Race 2. With every session, his confidence and pace continued to grow. It was just more frustrating for Isaac if anything because of his lack of laps at Brands GP last year and he felt that it put him on the back foot a bit especially for his qualifying sessions but as a team we were so pleased with his progress. It was still two solid finishes with more points so it’s all positive and he is excited for Oulton Park, a circuit in which he enjoys!

Luca was outstanding all weekend. He secured two second-place finishes and broke the lap record twice as he mounted an incredible challenge for the win against Marley McKenzie. The pair were separated by less than a second at the chequered flag, making for an exciting finish. Luca showed his determination, speed and talent throughout the weekend, and he’s already looking forward to Oulton Park in two weeks’ time.

Another fantastic weekend for Team SBR at Snetterton Circuit! 💚

The whole team worked incredibly hard to secure the best possible qualifying positions for both Isaac and Luca. Isaac qualified 12th position while Luca lined up an impressive 3rd on the grid.

Luca Hopkins
 Race 1 didn’t get off to the easiest start. After running onto the grass in the opening laps, Luca showed great determination to fight back, closing the gap to just 0.8 seconds from the leader at one stage before bringing home a brilliant 2nd place finish.

In Race 2, Luca battled his way through the pack after an average start to secure another 2nd place. Those results have put him firmly back in the championship fight, now sitting 2nd overall and just 12 points behind the championship leader.

Isaac Mark
 Isaac had another solid and positive weekend. Having only raced at Snetterton once before, this was another valuable learning experience. He finished Race 1 in 9th place and Race 2 in 11th, continuing to build confidence and experience at the circuit.
