The latest is that TUI holidays travelling on or before 11 June 2020 will unfortunately no longer be able to go ahead as planned.

We sincerely hope everyone and their families and friends are safe and well. Sharm is quiet and everyone left here is patiently staying home, following the advice and curfew, and trying not to think about all the Red Sea diving we're missing! (mid April already...!)

RED SEA COLOURS 8

Bringing colours to these uncertain days, we're repeating some favourite photos from posts past by reviewing underwater shots that got the most likes at the time. Hopefully they bring back some happy memories to you all! Stay Safe Everyone. Stay at Home.

8. Scorpion Fish

Scorpaenidae (also known as scorpionfish) are a family of mostly marine fish that includes many of the world's most venomous species. As the name suggests, scorpionfish have a type of "sting" in the form of sharp spines coated with venomous mucus. The family is a large one, with hundreds of members.[2] They are widespread in tropical and temperate seas, but mostly found in the Indo-Pacific. They should not be confused with the cabezones, of the genus Scorpaenichthys, which belong to a separate, though related, family, Cottidae.
