Known for its abundance of marine life, Lahami is home to the famous reefs of the Fury Shoals which have attracted
divers from all over the world with their magnificent hard corals. Its’ mangroves have also sheltered many bird species such as herons, spoonbills, sooty falcons and even flamingos on occasion making it one of the top spots for birdwatching. The beautiful mountains of Lahami provide for thrilling desert safaris on 4x4 quad bikes. The warm company of the Bedouins living in the Eastern Desert of Egypt is a truly unforgettable experience.

the FACILITIES
Wadi Lahami village has everything you need for the ultimate getaway. For accommodation, the tents and royal tents located by the mangroves are the village hallmarks and an exciting experience of how the concept all began. There are also the chalets, or the standard rooms, all of which feature terraces and unobstructed sea views. The restaurant serves a vast buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a peaceful and welcoming ambience. Near it is the cafeteria where you can refresh with a snack in between sessions. At the kite center is The Yellow Penguin bar offering all sorts of beverages and a cosy fire pit to chill after a long day of kiting. Our kitesurfing center provides lessons with IKO certified instructors in a warm and friendly vibe. The center is fully equipped with the latest Airush Egypt gear used during lessons and also available for renting. Stand up paddle (SUP) is also available for a relaxing water experience. To watch all the water action and unwind, we have the relaxation shade by the beach providing comfy hammocks and lounge chairs. For top quality diving, Lahami's diving center offers amazing scuba diving experiences as it is located near the famous reefs of the Fury Shoals.
