Say hi to the Pyjama Nudibranch – nature’s tiny fashion icon 🐌✨

This stunning little creature isn’t just cute — it’s fierce in the underwater world. The Pyjama Nudibranch (Chromodoris quadricolor) gets its nickname from its bold striped “outfit” that looks like fancy pajamas.

💡 Did you know?
🔹 Those orange “horns” are called rhinophores – they help the nudibranch smell and sense its environment.
🔹 The frilly tuft on its back is actually its gill – nudibranch means “naked gills.”
🔹 It absorbs toxins from its prey and stores them as chemical protection.
🔹 There are over 3,000 species of nudibranchs – and some scientists call them the butterflies of the sea!
