This colorful little resident of the Red Sea isn’t just cute — it has one of the ocean’s coolest survival tricks. 👀

The Red Sea Clownfish lives inside sea anemones, protected by its stinging tentacles thanks to a special mucus coating on its body.
While other fish stay away, clownfish call it home!

✨ Fun fact: Clownfish and anemones have a mutual friendship — the fish gets protection, while the anemone benefits from cleaning and extra nutrients.

Next time you’re underwater, slow down and look closely, you might spot one peeking out from its anemone home! 🌊

Meet the Great Moray Eel –
It’s a fish, not a snake, and it belongs to the family Muraenidae.

Habitat:
Moray eels live in tropical and subtropical seas, mostly in coral reefs and rocky areas, hiding in cracks and small caves near the reef.

Body & appearance:
They have a strong, snake‑like body, wide jaws, and constantly open mouths that look quite intimidating. Some species range from about 1.5 m up to over 3 m in length.

Behavior & diet:
They are nocturnal predators that ambush their prey from crevices. They eat fish, octopus, squid, and crustaceans, lunging quickly with powerful bites.

Danger to humans:
Moray eels usually do not attack humans unless provoked. Their bites can be deep and painful due to sharp teeth and bacteria in their mucus, and some species are mildly toxic, so it’s important to avoid putting hands in cracks and never feed or harass them while diving.

👉🏻This is a Remora, also called a sharksucker.
It uses a suction disc on its head to attach to sharks, rays, and turtles, saving energy while it feeds on parasites and food scraps from its host.
Their ‘suction cup’ dorsal fin lets them hitchhike long distances, while they help clean the host’s skin and eat leftover bits of food.
