Our horses are based at Mira Farm in Hurghada, 10 minutes north of the airport. As the Google map is a bit short on detail here are some instructions on how to find the farm coming from Hurghada by car. Carry on to the next roundabout, cross over keeping the gas station on your right. Carry on past the forest of trees which you will see on the left. After a couple of kilometres you will see a mush
room shape in the trees on the left and a large sign with a cow on the right. Take the SECOND U turn left and you will see the entrance to the farm opposite through 2 black and yellow barrels. Welcome!! We have access to Hurghada Forest and also the open desert and a large area around the farm to allow clients to feel comfortable with their horses. We offer rides of half an hour, one hour or longer if you prefer. We also make safaris to the mountains which include a packed lunch and drinks. This is usually for experienced riders only as we need to move fairly fast. All rides are accompanied by English speaking guides. A little German is also spoken! Times of rides vary with the seasons: all day in winter, early morning (including sunrise) to 11 am, and evenings from 5 pm till moonlight in summer. Riding here on Egypt's Red Sea coast is a fantastic experience but very different from riding in Europe. We do our best to match riders to horses to make sure that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves in comfort and safety. For many people it really is a dream come true, and it is certainly a wonderfully rewarding job for us.
