💙🏄♀️💪The real story is quite long, but to sum it up—back in 2023, the idea of building a community started to take shape.
I wanted to create a group to truly enjoy these sports because, for those of us who don’t live in easily accessible locations, being able to practice while aligning schedules, wind conditions, gear availability, skill level, and transportation is incredibly difficult. 🌊And with these sports, if you don’t practice regularly, you get stuck at the beginner level. That’s why the learning curve is very slow and long at the beginning, and many people end up quitting due to life circumstances… but this is the real reason, isn’t it? 🤔
That’s why being part of a group helps you learn faster—you push yourself to practice more, share tips with others, look out for each other… it makes the learning curve easier, shorter, and faster. 📈
The challenge back then was that talking about community without actually having one was complicated. It was a classic business dilemma—the chicken or the egg. Plus, without a way to monetize it, the time I could dedicate to MINDRA and creating real value was very limited. 🏄♂️🏄♀️
After testing countless ways to make it work, I discovered trips. I got trained, launched my first trips, and quickly realized that this is the best way to build a real community. Spending several days together allows me to intentionally create strong connections. And, of course, a trip is the best thing you can do if you want to improve at kitesurfing—you practice for multiple hours, several days in a row, giving you the momentum to stay hooked and truly enjoy this amazing sport.💙
Promoting practice, community, and making extreme and adventure sports more accessible to everyone. 😘
Be part of MINDRA if you want the same 🫶🙌
