🤿 One of the biggest mistakes beginner divers make underwater:
Using their hands to swim.
A relaxed diver should rely mainly on: ✅ proper buoyancy
✅ controlled breathing
✅ efficient fin kicks
Constant hand movement usually means: 🔹 poor trim
🔹 bad buoyancy control
🔹 unnecessary energy consumption
🔹 higher air consumption
The goal underwater is not to “fight” the water.
The best divers look calm, slow, and almost effortless underwater because they move with the environment, not against it.
Good buoyancy is what transforms a diver from “surviving the dive” into actually enjoying it. 🌊
