Are there sharks in the Red Sea? 🦈

Short answer: Yes! And what you’re looking at right here is the biggest of them all, the Whale Shark 🐋✨

Here’s why seeing one is actual magic 👇

🌿 Harmless Giants: Despite their massive size (up to 12 meters / 40 feet!), whale sharks are gentle filter feeders. They eat plankton, not people, making them completely harmless to divers.

🤿 Makadi Bay Treasures: Seeing a shark in the Red Sea is a sign of a thriving, healthy reef ecosystem.

🔍 Fun fact: Every whale shark has a completely unique pattern of spots behind its gills, just like a human fingerprint!
