Born in Germany, Birgit moved to Dahab in 2000 to teach diving. To balance her often long and difficult hours as a diving instructor, she began to regularly practice yoga. As yoga became increasingly part of her life, she travelled to India, completing her Astanga Vinyasa teacher training, and has since regularly travelled to attend intensive yoga workshops with her teachers in Germany.

Brigit’s classes are for all levels, stressing the importance of the breath, listening to the body, and offering the much needed variety of options for all poses. Her students experience yoga as more than just physical exercise, and as an opportunity of self discovery, psychological awareness and to remain in the present moment. ”Regular yoga practice not only transforms your body, but your life!”
