Third training session of the week ✅

Back again with student members of 🧗🏻‍♀️🧗🏼‍♂️

Delivered two trainings for two groups focusing on delivering Auto Belay and Bouldering Inductions me to new members of their club.

The club is now all trained up for the freshers fayre tatsers and the Give Me Sport events taking place all next week 💪🏼

Second round of training for the week completed ✅

This time with my team who operate our climbing wall

Freshen up some rescue skills and a general update of all the exciting things coming up.

Plus we all usually work independently, so it’s all always great for us all to get together with lots of laughs all round.

Had the pleasure of delivering a Train the Trainer with some of today.

The first batch of the start of term training was geared towards methods of teaching Top Rope Climbing.

✅Setting up the ropes
✅Hard and Soft Skills
✅Tying In
✅Belaying
✅Tailing learners

These students will now be sharing their new skills on their sessions supporting the new members of the club to take their climbing to new heights!

Happy 1st Birthday to Gibbs!

He might have no concept of personal space, hates being clean, likes to argue with inanimate objects such as hoovers and lawn mowers, will also want to share a pack of crisps (or any food for that matter!) but I wouldn’t have it any other way 🐾🐕
