PADI Dive Centre in Cairo since 1995 - Previously known as Maadi Divers
Specialises in all sorts of diving trips and courses

Dive Mania was established in 1990 as the first PADI Dive Center in Cairo , specialized in teaching PADI courses, organizing live-aboard diving trips, selling, renting and maintaining dive equipment as well as air refills. The dive center is Run by Haitham Afifi PADI MSDT, SDI TDI intructor. We offer the following Recretional courses: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver , Dive Master and Master Scuba Diver, Enriched air diver, deep diver, sidemount and more, along with Technical courses from intro to Tech or discover tech to trimix diver and closed circuit rebreathers

Theory classes are held in our classroom at Dive Mania; lectures are scheduled at your convenience. Attention Parents – Open Water Junior certification available for children starting at 10 years of age. We organize weekend Dive Safaris (snorklers are welcome) on our yacht operating out of Hurghada, Safaga, and Marsa Alam till Saint Jones.

She’s called one of the world’s most haunted wrecks

December 17, 1991. The Salem Express struck a reef near Safaga in a storm and sank within minutes,

carrying hundreds of passengers between Safaga and Jeddah

She still lies on her side at 30m. holding suitcases, shoes, a child’s bicycle. A life interrupted, not cleared away.

Frozen in a moment that never should have happened.
This is a grave before it’s a dive site.

There’s a place south of everywhere that looks like it belongs in a dream
Location: Deep south, far from the crowds.

Scenery: Coral gardens in colors that don’t look real until you’re in them , purple soft corals, yellow anthias clouds, walls that drop into blue.

Conditions: Rewards experience , some sites carry current, most are drift dives, best suited for divers comfortable in open water.

Expect to see: Turtles, reef sharks, and some of the healthiest hard coral in the Red Sea.
