When you have 2 options;
1️⃣To play a pass to a
teammate who is 5 meters away from you.
2️⃣When there is space in front of you to drive the ball for 10 metres.
Take the second option, any action that progresses the ball higher up the pitch is a high value action.

Back in 1996, Southampton fell for one of the wildest scams in football history.

Someone called them pretending to be George Weah and said his "cousin" Ali Dia was a PSG and Senegal star.

The club didn’t ask too many questions, they signed him right away.😂

Ali Dia made his debut vs Leeds, but was subbed off after 20 minutes. He was that bad.😂😂

He vanished after that. Turns out, the guy wasn’t Weah’s cousin, never played for Senegal, and had no pro experience, just a phone and a dream.

40 yrs old: Became the owner of a football club.

The journey isn’t about avoiding setbacks. It’s about refusing to stop.

I was surprised when Joe Jordan, their assistant coach, stood up and started swearing.
I told him to sit down, but he came closer and kept yelling while looking straight at me.
I grabbed him by the neck—even though I was Milan’s captain at the time—because he challenged me in the wrong way. The situation calmed down afterward.

FC Barcelona spent 111 years without an official sponsor and without any advertisements on its shirt, to preserve the club's values and principles without any external influence.

The first name to appear on Barcelona's shirt was UNICEF, but it wasn't an official sponsor, and Barcelona did not receive any money from them. All the profits went to donations.

The first official sponsor for Barcelona came in 2011, and it was Qatar Foundation.

Now, Barcelona barely owns anything of itself, not even its own name. 💔

Obafemi Martins hopes his son Kelvin Martins will represent Nigeria at the senior level. Kevin plays for Serie A club AC Monza as a winger.

He joined Monza last summer after spending some years with the youth teams of AC Milan and Inter Milan.

On 26th September 2024, he made his senior debut for Monza as a starter in a 3–1 win against Brescia in the Coppa Italia; he played the full 90 minutes and assisted the first goal.

His mother is Abigail Barwuah, the sister of Mario Balotelli. Kevin is eligible to represent Italy, Ghana and Nigeria.

He’s played for Italy at the U15 level.
