FIH President Tayyab Ikram also congratulated the organisers in Wavre:
“THIS WORLD CUP HAS BEEN A HUGE WIN FOR HOCKEY!
I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and deepest appreciation to our wonderful Belgian hosts for everything they have done to make this event such a success.
Over the past two weeks, the atmosphere at the Belfius Hockey Arena has been truly extraordinary. Every possible effort has been made to ensure that the athletes could compete in the very best conditions and express the full extent of their talent.
The tremendous support shown by the public authorities has also been greatly appreciated, symbolised by the presence of His Majesty King Philippe at the venue today.
Finally, I would like to pay tribute to the outstanding work of the Belgian Hockey Association, under the leadership of its President, Patrick Keusters, and CEO, Serge Pilet. Their commitment and contribution have been exceptional.
Merci beaucoup, la Belgique! - You have helped make this World Cup an unforgettable celebration of hockey.”

“Warm congratulations to Germany on being crowned once again men’s world champions! A remarkable achievement that reflects an exceptional combination of talent, determination, mental strength and relentless hard work.
Congratulations as well to Spain and Argentina for their outstanding performances in securing the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
And a heartfelt thank you to every team and athlete who contributed to this extraordinary World Cup, treating fans around the world to unforgettable performances, thrilling moments and so many great emotions!”
