F.F.E Rules
General Rules:
1- Every team should be present before the scheduled time of its 1st match by at least 15 minutes.
2- Each match is controlled by a referee who will have full authority to enforce F.F.E rules of the game in connection with the match to which they have been appointed.
3- In all matches, Name of the players and substitutes must be given to the referee before the start of the match, whether they are present or not, any player or substitute whose name isn't given to the referee at this time may not take part in the match.
4- Unsportsmanlike conduct such as verbal abuse to Referee, F.F.E admins or other players, unnecessary roughness or repeated penalization will result in ejection from the Tournament and dismissal for the whole team.
Match Rules:
1- Each match will last for 20 minutes divided into two 10-minute halves (running clock), separated by a 1-minute half-time period.
2- During Match time, the clock will stop only for substitution periods and injuries with a maximum of 2 minutes of added time in each match.
3- Substitutions of players or goalkeepers will be allowed 3 times in each match (every 5 minutes=Substitution window) except in case of injury of any of the players and after approval from the referee.
4- Changing of goalkeepers is allowed only during a stoppage in the match (Substitution window) or in case of any injury and the referee must be informed before the change is made.
5- The goalkeeper isn't allowed to hold the ball with his hands if the ball is intentionally returned with foot from one of his team mates.
6- In case of absence or delay of any team from the scheduled time of the match, Withdrawal time will be 5 min from the scheduled start time of the match and the result of the match will be 2/0 to the present team.
7- In order to claim a withdrawal, a team must have the correct number of players present and ready to play (5 players at least).
8- If neither team is able to field the correct number of players, a double withdrawal will be declared, the match will be cancelled (Both teams will lose the points of the match).
Points Scoring System:
1- The winner of each match will have 3 points and the loser will have no points, In case there is a tie between two teams, each team will have one point.
2- Ranking of teams will be based on points, in case of equal points between teams, ranking will be decided based on goal difference for each team and the higher goal difference will have the higher rank, in case of equal goal difference ranking will be decided based on the team who scores a higher number of goals, then if there is a tie in goals scored, the rank will be decided on the result of their match together, then if there is a tie, a coin toss by one of F.F.E admins will decide the higher rank.
3- There will be 8 teams divided into 2 groups with 4 teams in each group, 1st and 2nd ranked teams in each group will be qualified for the semi-final matches (Knock out phase).
4- In F.F.E Cups, In group stage: It is allowed that the match can end in draw (Tie) state while in the Knock out phases, if there is a tie between the 2 teams, the winner will be decided with penalties Shoots (3 for each Team) then if there is a tie it will be one penalty shoot for each team until a winner is decided.
F.F.E Statistics:
The following statistics will be recorded for each player during all F.F.E matches:
- Minutes played.
- Number of matches.
- Goals.
- Assists.
- Saves of goalkeepers.
- Penalties.
- Own goals.
- Red Cards.
- Average goals scored per match & minutes played.
- Average assists per match & minutes played.
N.B: Collective statistics will be available for each player from all F.F.E upcoming tournaments.
Referee Rules:
1- The referee will be the timekeeper and will have the authority to cancel the match in case of any infringements of F.F.E rules of the game or in case of outside interference of any kind.
2- The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play, including whether or not a goal is scored and the result of the match, are final.
3- The referee has the right to announce a red card for any of the players in case of any unnecessary roughness to another player, intentional touching of the ball with hand and any other unethical act during play according to his judgment (The player will be sent off from the match and his team will play for 2 minutes without him).
