WEEKLY CHECK-IN✅

🥦 Nutrition
Three solid meals daily, occasional snack on the busier days and this was a very busy week. The rule stays simple: veggies + protein every plate, complex carbs on training days, fruit post-workout. The only challenge? Actually eating enough. A packed schedule makes it easy to undereat without noticing. Still working on that one.

💪 Training & Movement
5 hypertrophy strength sessions ✅ + 1 exotic dance class ✅ (logistics is a struggle, so when dance happens, it’s a celebration). Plus 10,500+ steps every single day: walking to the gym, with the kids, everywhere. My fitness tracker is basically just nodding in approval.

😴 Sleep & Recovery
I really want to say this has improved, but..Reader, it has not. Second half of the luteal phase = broken, light sleep and ceiling-staring at 2am. That said, I’m in bed by 21:05–21:15 and up at 6:06 every day, so the intention is fully there. Supporting with ashwagandha and glycine, whether it works or I’m just embracing placebo enthusiastically, either way I’m taking them.

💧 Hydration
Water bottle is my permanent shadow. Not a problem, never a question.

🧠 Stress & Wellbeing
The background hum of stress is real and the to-do list never quite empties. But my anchor stays the same: I’m alive, healthy, and my people are safe, that resets everything. When stress hits hard, I put on my shoes and walk it out. Movement is still my best therapist. More breathwork wouldn’t hurt though & adding that to the list (the irony is not lost on me).

Overall life is good, and next week we finish the hypertrophy plan!

Weekly summary 💪 How did I do this week?

Why do a summary at all? So you can analyze your training, nutrition, lifestyle and sleep and make smarter improvements going forward. Also, accountability hits different when it’s public. 😅

1️⃣ Nutrition
Overall solid: 3 main meals + consistent protein intake. A few days included a snack, mostly on fast-paced days juggling work, family and planning a kids’ birthday party. On those days, eating on schedule just got harder. Turns out, birthday cake doesn’t count as a post-workout meal. Who knew. The reminder: planning is key.

2️⃣ Training & Exercise
10K+ steps every day & usually more. Movement is non-negotiable for me. On top of that, I completed 3 intentional hypertrophy sessions this week. The ongoing challenge: finding a well-equipped gym since leaving my previous I/O gym membership. Currently in my “make it work with what I’ve got” era. The gains don’t wait for the perfect gym 💪

3️⃣ Sleep & Recovery
Still one of the hardest pieces. I follow my sleep protocol strictly as zero 0 alcohol, last meal 3 hours before bed. Because sleep is the best medicine. And it’s also free.

4️⃣ Hydration
Water bottle always with me. Honestly the easiest part of my week. If only everything else were this simple.

5️⃣ Stress & Mindset
Improving. Life is full: family, work, training, logistics, a birthday party, obligations & basically a full-time circus with protein snacks. But the game is: plan well, stay flexible and keep moving. No complaints. Let’s rock the new week🚀

Olen EOK sertifitseeritud personaaltreener & rühmatreener, EREPS treener ja rahvusvaheline toitumisnõustaja, kes on viimased 12 aastat pühendunud sellele, et aidata inimestel oma energiat tagasi saada ja läbi teadliku toitumise ja järjepideva liikumise.
Minu enda teekond ei alanud üleöö. Olen ise läbinud selle tee, kus toitumine oli kaos, liikumine tundus kohustusena ja kehatunne kaugel sellest, milline ta olla võiks. Sain aru, et see ei ole tahtejõu küsimus. See on harjumuste, teadlikkuse ja õige toe küsimus.
Täna töötan enamasti naistega, kelle igapäevaelu ongi täis ELU ehk karjäär, pere, kohustused. Naistega, kes on väsinud kiirlahendustest ja tahavad lõpuks midagi, mis päriselt töötab.
Minu tervisliku eluviisi programmis ei loeta meeleheitlikult kaloreid ega elata ainult rohelise salati peal. Me vaatame, mis sinuga tegelikult toimub. Ja sealt edasi liigume sammhaaval, järjekindlalt, sinu elu ja energiaga arvestades.
