🇪🇪 Tagasivaade tänavusele Tour of Estoniale, tänusõnad ja vaade tulevikku peakorraldaja Indrek Kelgu poolt! 👏🙌

Tour of Estonia 2026 on möödanik. Oli uut ja huvitavat Pirita velotreki proloogi näol, oli vana ja tuttavat Tallinn-Tartu etapi näol. Ja oli väikseid uuendusi Tartu linnaringil laupäevasel tuuri finaaletapil. Ilm ei halastanud laupäeval ratturitele. Linnaringil vihmaga libedates kurvides püsti jäämine ei ole lihtne töö, aga tugevamad võitsid ikkagi! Oli üks vägev ja võimas võidusõit. Kokkuvõttes läks kõik väga hästi!

Tahan väga tänada kõiki osalenud tiime, kõiki abilisi kes kaasa lõid. Samuti kohtunikke, kaaskorraldajaid, vabatahtlikke autojuhte, rajajulgestajaid, politsei eskorti läbiviijaid. Kõiki rajajulgestajaid, kes nii Tallinnas, Tartus kui ka kogu rajal tee peal väljas olid. Ja loomulikult tänada mõistva suhtumise ja kannatlikkuse eest kogu Tartu linna rahvast, kes rattasõitude tõttu pidid arvestama teatavate liikluspiirangutega.

Tour of Estonia 2027, üsna kindlalt võib öelda, – tuleb jälle aasta pärast. Juuni esimese nädalalõpu eel. Milliselt täpselt? Eks seda näitavad eelolevad kuud. Aga see on traditsioon, mis Eesti rattaspordile on vajalik ja loodetavasti jääb kestma väga pikaks ajaks! 🚴‍♂️

🇬🇧 A look back at this year's Tour of Estonia, words of gratitude and a look to the future from the race director Indrek Kelk! 👏🙌

Tour of Estonia 2026 is now over. There was something new and interesting in the form of the Pirita velodrome prologue, there was something old and familiar in the form of the Tallinn-Tartu stage. And there were some small innovations on the Tartu city circuit on Saturday's final stage of the tour. The weather was not kind to the riders on Saturday. Riding in the slippery curves in the rain on the city circuit is not an easy task, but the stronger ones still won! It was a great and powerful race. All in all, everything went very well!

I would like to thank all the participating teams, all the helpers. Also the comissaires, co-organizers, volunteer drivers, course guards, police escorts. All the course marshals who were out on the road in Tallinn, Tartu and along the entire course. And of course, for the understanding and patience, from all people in Tartu who had to take into account certain traffic restrictions due to the cycling races.

It can be said with certainty that the Tour of Estonia 2027 will come again in a year. Before the first weekend of June. How exactly? The coming months will show that. But it is a tradition that is necessary for Estonian cycling and hopefully will last for a very long time! 🚴‍♂️

Tour of Estonia on selleks korraks läbi. Eesti kõige kõrgema kategooriaga rahvusvaheline velotuur (UCI 2.1) pakkus aga emotsoone, mis jäävad meiega pikemaks ajaks! 🚴‍♂️

Tänavune rattatuur poleks saanud toimuda ilma korraldusmeeskonnata, kes annab endast igal hetkel 110%. Tuur poleks toimunud ka ilma abilisteta ning sponsoriteta! See on suur tänu ja kummardus teile! 🙏👏

Rattatuur ei ühenda mitte ainult rattahuvilisi, vaid tervet spordikogukonda ja Eesti ühiskonda. See toob tänavatele kaasa elama nii suured kui ka väikesed - üle kogu Eesti! 💙🖤🤍

See annab võimaluse noortele lootustandvatele ratturitele, et saada jalg (või pedaal) rahvusvahelise areeni ukse vahele. See toob kokku tugevad Eesti ratturid üle maailma, et esindada tuuril Eesti koondist. See toob kohale ka profitiimid ning need Eesti ratturid, kes on juba saanud koha mõnes välismaa rattatiimis. See on meie võimalus tutvustada Eestit ning meie oma ratta- ja spordikogukonda. Ja me suudame seda teha nii, et meid meenutatakse vaid positiivsete sõnadega.

The Tour of Estonia is over for now. However, Estonia's highest category international cycling tour (UCI 2.1) offered emotions that will stay with us for a long time! 🚴‍♂️

This year's cycling tour could not have taken place without the organizing team, who give 110% at every moment. The tour would not have taken place without helpers and sponsors! This is a big thank you! 🙏👏

The cycling tour unites not only cycling enthusiasts, but the entire sports community and Estonian society. It brings people to the streets - all over Estonia! 💙🖤🤍

It gives young, promising cyclists the opportunity to get their foot (or pedal) in the door of the international arena. It brings together strong Estonian cyclists from all over the world to represent the Estonian national team on the tour. It also brings together professional teams and those Estonian cyclists who have already secured a place in a foreign cycling team. This is our chance to introduce Estonia and our cycling and sports community. And we can do it in a way that we are remembered only with positive words.

That’s how Marceli Bogusławski sealed both the stage victory and the overall title at the Tour of Estonia.

A strong final sprint in Tartu proved decisive, with Bogusławski taking the stage and moving to the top of the overall standings to secure the Tour of Estonia crown.

LAST LAP ❗️

Aksel Skot-Hansen (Team Give Steel) of Denmark and Øyvind Fløtten (Team Ringerike) of Norway hold a 20-second advantage over the peloton heading into the final lap.

With the bunch keeping the gap under control, it still looks set to come down to a large group sprint finish.

With those bonus seconds, Pajur has moved into the virtual overall race lead by 2 seconds.

Meanwhile, rain has been coming and going in waves, at times quite heavily, adding another layer of unpredictability to the race and disrupting teams' tactics. Despite the challenging conditions, the peloton remains together.

With those points, Pajur has moved into a share of the virtual overall race lead.

Following the intermediate sprint, a group of 16 riders has managed to break away, opening up a 10-second gap on the peloton.
