Jurmala offshore sailing team ar laivu VENTUS ir aizvadījusi vienu no lielākajām Baltijas jūras sporta burāšanas regatēm - Muhu väina regatt, kas norisinājās no 10. līdz 17.jūlijam Igaunijā.🇪🇪
Tieši šajā regatē mūsu komanda pirmo reizi startēja ar tās jauno laivu VENTUS (MELGES 32).
Ievērojot īso laika periodu, kurā komandai bija jāsagatavo laiva aktīvai lietošanai un sacensībām - pati regate sagādāja ne mazums izaicinājumu. Regates laikā komandai ne tikai nācās izsekot un piemēroties jaunās laivas īpatnībām - bet arī pirmo reizi testēt laivu stipros vējos, kas brāzmās sasniedza 22 kn ar viļņu augstumu līdz pat 3 m. 🌊🌊🌊
Tomēr arī šajos apstākļos komanda spēja sevi pierādīt kā konkurētspējīgu un ambiciozu sacensību dalībnieku.
Posmā Ruhnu - Koiguste mūsu komanda kapteiņa Kristapa Remess vadībā pirmā šķērsoja finiša līniju, iegūstot “line honours” titulu. 🏆🇱🇻 Arī vairākos citos posmos VENTUS šķērsoja finiša līniju pirmajā pieciniekā, fiziski konkurējot ar Eiropas un pat pasaules mēroga jūras sporta burāšanas profesionāļiem.
Šī gada Muhu väina regatt sniedza būtisku pieredzi, komandai sastrādājoties un iepazīstot jauno komandas laivu VENTUS.
Gaidāmajās regatēs Jurmala offshore sailing team ir apņēmības pilna izmantot MELGES 32 priekšrocības, strādāt ar tās izaicinājumiem un augt konkurētspējā ne tikai fiziski, bet arī kopvērtējumā! 💪💪💪

Jurmala offshore sailing team with a boat VENTUS has held one of the largest sailing regattas in the Baltic - Muhu väina regatt, which took place from 10 to 17 July in Estonia.🇪🇪
In this regatta our team competed for the first time with its new boat VENTUS (MELGES 32).
Given the short period of time in which the team had to prepare the boat for active use and competition - the regatta itself was quite a challenge. During the regatta, the team not only had to track and adapt to the peculiarities of the new boat - but also for the first time to test the boat in strong winds, which in gusts reached 22 kn with a wave height of up to 3 m. 🌊🌊🌊
However, even in these conditions, the team was able to show itself as a competitive and ambitious participant of the regatta.
In the Ruhnu - Koiguste leg, our team, led by captain Kristaps Remess, was the first to cross the finish line and took line honors. 🏆🇱🇻 In several other legs, VENTUS crossed the finish line in the top five, physically competing with European and even world level offshore sailing professionals.
This year's Muhu väina regatt provided significant experience as the team worked together and got to know the new team's boat VENTUS for the first time.
In the forthcoming regattas Jurmala offshore sailing team is determined to use the advantages of MELGES 32, work with its challenges and grow in competitiveness not only physically, but also in the overall rating!
