🎉🏉 We are thrilled to announce a momentous occasion for our rugby club, RFC Märjamaa!
One of our brothers, Andre Astre, has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to our community. On 23.02.2024, Andre was presented with a framed thank-you letter from the municipality, commemorating his dedication and service.
What makes this recognition even more special is that it coincided with the 106th birthday of our beloved country. While our official Independence Day falls on 24.02, the ceremony honoring Andre took place a day earlier, adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion.
In a recent newspaper article, Andre's remarkable accomplishments were highlighted. With 13 years of service in the Märjamaa rescue team and receiving the Rescue Board's Medal of Merit with Silver Oak Leaves last year, Andre exemplifies dedication and excellence in all his endeavors. Beyond his commitment to rugby, Andre also serves as a coach for the Juhan wrestling club and plays a pivotal role in the Estonian Olympic Committee's "Sport at School" project as a wrestling instructor for the second season.
But Andre's impact extends far beyond his professional achievements. He is a beacon of friendship, reliability, and familial values, both on and off the rugby field. His unwavering support and loyalty make him not only a valuable member of our club but also a cherished friend to all who know him.
