🐱 A Turtle’s Shell Isn’t Just a Shell

It may look like armor, but a turtle’s shell is actually a living part of its body.

The "carapace" is connected to the ribs and backbone, and the shell contains "nerves and blood vessels" meaning turtles can feel through it. đŸ€Ż

✹ It’s not just protection. It’s living, sensitive anatomy.

Green sea turtle hatchlings face incredibly tough odds, with only a tiny fraction surviving to adulthood. That’s why protecting turtles and their ocean home matters so much. 🌊💚

Green sea turtles are still endangered. Statistics say only one in thousand survives.

Some GalĂĄpagos magic can only be found when you go further.

Playful fur seals, remote volcanic coastlines, wild ocean energy, and those hidden places most divers never get to experience.

Our Special 15 Day GalĂĄpagos Expedition has just started, led by Jonathan Green , Director of the Galapagos Whale Shark Project, who brings more than 30 years of GalĂĄpagos experience and knows the secret corners, rare encounters, and magical places that make these islands so extraordinary.

This is not just a longer trip.
It is a deeper GalĂĄpagos experience.

More time in the water.
More chances for unforgettable wildlife.
More remote dive sites.
More connection to the ocean.

Join Jonathan next year on our Special 15 Day Citizen Science Expedition and experience the GalĂĄpagos in a way very few divers ever do.

Limited spaces available.

They look like tiny dinosaurs, but they are one of the Galápagos’ greatest survival stories.

Marine iguanas are the only lizards on Earth that have adapted to feed in the ocean. Watching them graze underwater is a reminder of what makes GalĂĄpagos so extraordinary: evolution in motion, life perfectly shaped by the sea, and species found nowhere else on the planet.

But this fragile world needs protection. Every current, every reef, every shark, ray, turtle, and marine iguana is connected. When we protect GalĂĄpagos waters, we protect an entire living system.

This is why we dive with purpose.
To witness.
To learn.
To protect.

Because once you have looked into the eyes of a marine iguana underwater, Galápagos is no longer just a destination. It becomes a responsibility. 💙

Ever wondered what it feels like to be surrounded by hundreds of hammerhead sharks
and realize you almost didn’t come because you had no one to go with?

This is exactly why we’re hosting this LIVE.

So many divers wait for the “right person” to join them
and end up delaying dreams like this.

But here’s the truth
Some of the most unforgettable moments in the ocean happen when you decide to go anyway.

This Sunday at 11 AM Galápagos time, we’re talking about traveling solo to a dive liveaboard in the Galápagos
What it’s really like
Why it’s so common
And why it might be the best decision you ever make

If this has been on your mind
 this is your sign

You don’t see them first
 you feel them.

A shift in the water. A presence. And then suddenly, dolphins all around you.

Out here in the blue, this isn’t chance. Dolphins are highly intelligent and deeply curious. They choose when to approach, when to circle, when to stay.

And for a few seconds, you’re not just a visitor in the ocean
 you’re part of it.

This is the kind of moment that stays with you forever.

This is GalĂĄpagos.

Join us on a Citizen Science Expedition.
