As soon as the couple arrived they knew they had found home. Immediately they were welcomed with open arms by the community. ithin a year Otra Ola was constructed and the couple's dream became a reality. After 7 amazing years of running Otra Ola the couple has now turned into 4, well 5 including Phil (the dog). They are ready to return to Canada to be closer to their families. The couple have met so many unforgettable people, have learned so much about not only Ecuador but the world in general meeting people from all over the world on a daily basis. They have learned to embrace the openness and warmth of the latin culture. Over there journey with Otra Ola, the couple have learned to appreciate life, to live in the moment and be open to whatever may come their way. They have learned owning their time, being in control and not living to work is a big part of true happiness. They are ready to pass on this paradise and to allow someone else's dreams to come true.
