Outstanding versatility from Alexandra Zalyubovskaya 🇰🇿!
A true 400m specialist with an excellent personal best of 52.87, Alexandra once again proved her strength and endurance by stepping up to the 800m at the XI. International Indoor Meeting at öskemen for the Prizes of Olga Rypakova — and winning it in 2:14.24.
For an athlete whose main weapon is speed over one lap, moving up to the demanding 800m indoor requires courage, tactical intelligence, and strong aerobic preparation.
Sasha controlled the race with confidence, showing that her 400m power can translate beautifully into longer distances when needed.
This victory carries even more meaning after the knee injury she suffered last November during the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh.
